When shopping for Christmas gifts this holiday season, why not spread the joy even further by putting smiles on the faces of youth in need? This holiday season, Happy Paws and Tailor Made Performance are teaming up to help The Door - Emergency Youth Shelter with their wish list, and we need your help!
Whether your donation is cash, a wish list item, or simply getting the word out - every little bit helps! As a contribution for each dollar donated, Happy Paws will match cumulative total donations up to $500. Additionally, 100% of the proceeds of all gourmet dog cookies sold in the month of December will be donated to Fairbanks Youth Advocates.
Tailor Made Performance will be donating a percentage of all personal training sales during the month of December, up to $500.
Together, we can make a difference.
Donations can be taken to our drop-off location at Tailor Made - 910 Old Steese Hwy Suite B, Fairbanks, AK 99701, or can be picked up by Happy Paws.
Below is a wish list that we asked Fairbanks Youth Advocates to share with us.
Wishing you a warm and happy holiday season.
Wish list
-Puzzles
-Art and Craft kits
-Chargers of each kind and charging blocks (these come and go often)
-Headphones (another come and go item)
-Self care products (Face masks, nail kits, bath bombs)
-Makeup items (these are often items our youth can't afford, but would thoroughly enjoy)
-We need a sewing machine, big or small, we believe that is an important life skill that we would enjoy teaching our youth.
-Lego sets, these are amazing when finding an activity to do with the youth and also great for those with ADHD/learning curves.
-Wallets(male and female)
-Mini speakers
-Gift cards of any kind, these are great for rewarding the youth.
-Hair care products, whether male or female, we often find that we don't have what is necessary for certain hair types, or even products like heat protectant, detangler, etc.
-We would love a plastic knife set to make cooking with the youth (cooking classes) a bit safer.
-A polaroid camera and film
-Last on my list are shower caddy's, these are important for a youth's stay but between each stay, some go missing or get broken.
*Roy, our musical pro, took one look at our musical set up and told me we should make it more accessible for our youth who use music as an outlet*
-Amps(guitar, bass, keyboard)
-Strings(guitar and bass)
-capos and picks
-electric tuners
-Sheet music or books
-Guitar and bass stands
-Musical lessons/gift card(we would help them attend during their stay)
In-home pet nail trimming. We come to you for a less stressful, more convenient experience!
