THE PAWS ZONE recognizes that most families value their pets as a member of the family. We offer a variety of services to keep your furry child happy, and healthy. We are committed to provide these services in a loving, playful and stress free environment. When you come to THE PAWS ZONE you will experience:

"GROOMING PAWSITIVE " Services will be provided in a CAGE FREE atmosphere with continuous

observation. Drying will be done hands-on NOT with cage dryers. For those clients that will be groomed and picked up there will be suites complete with calming music, a raised cot and human company while they await the arrival of their owner. GROOM AND PLAY A service offered for our clients that enjoy playing with other dogs. There will be a large play area for them to enjoy. Just drop them off in the AM and pick them up at the end of the day. We will ensure lots of human and Canine contact throughout the whole day. Grooming will be done in stages, reducing stress and leaving you with a happy, calm and great smelling pet at the end of the day. DAYCARE Many nuisance dog behaviors are a direct result of boredom, anxiety and loneliness. Dogs crave the companionship of other dogs and people. We will offer plenty of human and canine interaction for our furry clients who need a home away from home while their owners are juggling hectic schedules. The Paws Zone is looking for a dog lover to work our evening shift. Monday thru Friday 3pm - 9pm and 1weekend/month.

We are looking for someone that has a passion for all things DOG. As a boarding attendant you will give your loving attention to our special guests making sure that their stay is fun and safe!

***WARNING*** Candidates should be able to handle the physical requirements of the job. Our guests are often very excited to be here. You will be jumped on, pulled and pushed around by excited dogs up to 100+ lbs

Duties will include: Check in/Check out boarding guests, supervise play, maintain clean sleeping quarters and play spaces, feeding, giving medications, communication with our guests families, and most important LOTS of personal attention for each of our guests.

We need someone that is punctual, self-motivated and able to work independently. This position requires your full attention. The health and safety of our guests will depend on your pet knowledge, compassion, and attention to detail. Previous experience working with dogs is preferred but we will consider training the right person if all of the following qualifications are met.

We are currently seeking a talented dog lover to join our grooming team. We are a full service facility offering luxury boarding, fun doggie daycare and dog grooming. We provide high level pet care services in a convenient, playful and stress free environment.

Applicants must...
-Be over the age of 18
-Able to stand for extended periods
-Be able to safely lift 50 lbs
-Have reliable transportation, and live within 30 minutes of the facility

We are looking for someone who LOVES dogs and would like the opportunity to get paid while they learn a professional skill. As a full service facility all team members will cross train and participate in all the services that we provide.

This opportunity consists of a 1yr hands on paid training in grooming. After 60 days you will qualify for bonus pay in addition to your hourly salary.

Experience working with dogs is a plus. We will consider training a highly self motivated candidate if all the other criteria are met.

Pay will depend on experience and skill level.

We are looking for someone to provide care to our overnight guests and day campers. Duties vary daily based on occupancy and need, but may include: providing food, water, medication and personal attention to our guests. Supervision of play groups, evening play and bathroom breaks. Cleaning and disinfecting play areas and sleeping quarters. There may be some clerical duties such as filing, completing boarding notes, and answering the phone.

Customer service skills; you will need to provide pet parents with updates and answer questions, and be able to check guests in and out.

This is a 40hr+/wk position. We staff 7 days a week. Even though schedules are usually fixed, flexibility is a plus. Hours for this position will be Tuesday-Friday 10AM-5 and 8-9PM. Saturdays 8AM-12.

Weekends and Holidays are pre-scheduled and part of a shared 4 week rotation with the other team members.

We are looking for someone that loves dogs! We need someone that is punctual, self motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced, pet focused environment. A Huge heartfelt THANK YOU to the customers who bought gift certificates, food, tipped extra, and used our other services to help our little business survive. IT MADE A DIFFERENCE!

We will be hiring all our employees back and we have an enormous grooming backlog to work through. Please be patient. We will work through them as quickly as possible. We will be following CDC guidelines for safety of our customers & staff. We have missed all our pups so much. WE CAN'T WAIT TO EARN YOUR WAGS!!

The Paws Zone is Re-opening on 4/8/20 in a limited capacity, as the American Kennel Club has helped to get our services added to the essential business list. To protect our customers and our staff business will be conducted differently until all restrictions are lifted.
NO CUSTOMERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE STORE

1 ALL services are Appointment ONLY

2 Staff will be following CDC guidelines on distancing, hygiene, illness etc.

2 Our lobby is CLOSED. A staff member can come to your vehicle to get your pet OR you may walk them up and place them in the entryway and ring the door bell to alert the staff they are here.

3 Please keep your leash, collars, and harnesses with you. We will use ours for transport.

4 Pets will be brought to your vehicle for pick up PLEASE wait for us to call you.

5 We can accept cash, check, or credit. If paying with card, a staff member will run the transaction and bring the receipt to your vehicle for signature.
