One Prime Legacy is a great combination of “old school” genetics. His sire and dam trace back to some of the greats such as Johnny Dial, Doc Bar, Two Eyed Jack, Zan Parr Bar, and The Continental.

His paternal grand dam, Winter Sweet Cher, was a line bred Johnny Dial mare (see her extended pedigree in the comments). His dam, Rafter T Prime Time, was out of a line bred The Continental mare and by a Zan Parr Bar/Two Eyed Jack grandson. (See her extended pedigree in the comments.)

His pedigree is packed with generations of proven performers in the cutting, team penning, racing, roping, and halter. He is conformationally correct, big b***d, and incredibly intelligent.

Born in 1961, Mr Gun Smoke was by Rondo Leo and out of Kansas Cindy (by Kansas Star).

Trained by Dale Wilkinson, Mr Gun Smoke overcame an injury to earn an AQHA Superior in cutting, 71 AQHA performance points and an NCHA Certificate of Ability.

The stallion known for passing along flashy white markings has been an influential sire in multiple disciplines, with his sons, daughters and their foals winning the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, the NCHA Futurity as well as earning championships in the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Paint Horse Association.

He is often found in the pedigrees of top reining horses, due in part to the popularity of his great-great grandson – Equi-Stat Elite $13 Million Sire Colonels Smoking Gun (Gunner).
