Consistency is one of the hardest things to come by in the showpig world. It’s incredibly hard to consistently be at the very top, whether you’re breeding them or feeding them. Beyers Farms is truly an exception to this- regardless what year it it is or what part of the country you’re in, odds are a Beyers red hog is gonna be fighting for the top spot. Brett’s bringing more than he ever has before so you better look in, the game is on next Saturday!

There’s no question Beyers Farms is one of the absolute best Duroc firms in the country. Brett’s focus on Red Hogs has been a large contribution to getting the breed to where it’s at today. There’s also no question he will be bringing his absolute best Midwest State Fair barrows to the Gamers Sale! Last years success will be hard to top- after winning both Duroc barrow divisions at Illinois- but Brett says he is loaded- so you better get in The Game Saturday the 25th!

One shoutout we didn’t do at the sale is a big one to Joliet Junior College for the use of their gates. We have some very close connections to JJC in the sale and they have a long-standing history of doing everything they can for the junior livestock industry. We truly appreciate their help.

This has been and will be one of the truly elite sets of Midwest state fair sized prospects that will sell this spring! So Matt and Tammy Miller Showpigs kind of dominated the state of Illinois in the Spot and Poland rings last year with their barrows sold through the Gamers sale. That should come as no surprise given their history in these respective breeds. Check them out tomorrow night when the Walton Webcasting preview goes live. Beyers Farms, TX has been absolutely on fire in the Chester ring. Grand Chester Barrow San Antonio. Grand and Reserve LOPB San Angelo. Grand WOPB at Texas National.
Todd and crew have brought serious heat the last couple years, and this year looks to be no different. Word is he is bringing a couple full sibs to the Grand Chester barrow at San Antonio. I would say those would be worth the trip to come see.

Congrats to Beyers Farms for raising the Grand Duroc Barrow at OYE! Another big win for a Gamers consignor. Rumor has it Brett is bringing a couple full sibs to the Gamers next Saturday the 27th. Those might be worth checking in on!
Last year Beyers set started hanging banners at major shows in June, and didn’t stop all summer long.
The kind Brett brings will win early, often, and still be dialed in for State Fair season. Be in Fairbury next Saturday. Enough said.
