Zia and Lulu made it! They had a long flight from Turkey to Dulles and have a place to crash until next week. They are very shy and submissive and get along great with the current fosters beagle.

Looking for someone to take in both girls while they transition to life in a home. They are under 40lbs and confident they will come around with time, love and patience.

The end of the month will be here before we know it and we didn’t want to wait another day without letting our fur fam know where we will be in June. If you’re not looking to add another fur animal to your pack please consider donating 💰or items such as puppy/kitten food and potty pads. Eric & Gretchen came to us from NC a week ago and are going in for a check up at Colonial Animal Hospital today. We are estimating them to be 9 weeks old today but they sure are tiny. They made their debut at Fair Winds Brewing Company last weekend.

Looking for fosters starting Saturday December 30th at 10pm. THREE siblings from Puerto Rico! Hank is super chill and loves to walk with his leash in his mouth. It’s so cute it’s ridiculous. Super snuggly. Holly is the smartest of her brothers. She’s already showing signs of great recall and loves training. She’s been on the leash and is also very, very cuddly. Augie was shy when he was first rescued him, but is thriving with the companionship of six foster dogs. He loves to run around with Rescue Bono, who is a big guy. Would do better with another dog, as he looks to the other dogs for direction.

On June 1st we received a call from a good samaritan named Julianna who saw a kitten playing in a sewer drain near 50mph road in Lorton. She called Furever Haven and we were able to take her in, thanks to Donna Peterson! Now this stray kitten has a mama and siblings.

Mama Kelly is in need of a foster home where she can roam the home and interact with cats and dogs. her kittens are going to their Furever 🏠’s and she’s ready for more space. Her current foster keeps an eye on her even when she’s away and shared this video of Kelly being playful like a kitten!
