Cinnamon Spice https://hart90.org/PetDetail.aspx?id=18493 is loving everything nice! This little sweetheart was rescued from a condemned house along with 10 other dogs. 😳 She is doing amazingly well in her foster home! She has learned to walk nicely on a leash, is doing great with toilet training, and is learning to play with toys. She is good with other dogs and is super smart. She even watches TV, especially when there are dogs on! 😄 She's still skittish around new people but warms up fairly quickly. This dog will settle in beautifully once she finds her forever home. ❤ Happy Halloween to all from Cinnamon Spice! 🎃

These are the lives we saved TODAY!! 🥹

The unwanted - the mistreated - the abandoned - the young - the old - the forgotten - the ones that had almost lost hope... 💔 until the HART van arrived at their rural shelter today and RESCUED them!! 🥰

All of these sweet souls are on our van on the way to us in Northern VA. They arrive with nothing but dirty coats and the need for TLC.

If you can help, just $5 will matter to them. Without your help, we cannot do what we do. 💲 Medical care and transport expenses are significant and overwhelming. 😔

This is also why we constantly need people to volunteer to foster an animal in need. Without fosters, animals like these have nowhere to go! Volunteer with us!! ❤🐾❤

Help! Giggles needs a FOSTER or FOREVER home!! 🤞 This cutie is a friendly hound/beagle mix who loves meeting new people and dogs. 🥰 She enjoys walks and playtime but will also settle down during the day for long naps. Giggles is house trained and crate trained and will sleep through the night in her crate. This pretty girl is about 45 pounds and walks well on a leash. She is good with kids and other dogs. She's a quick learner and up-to-date with her vaccinations. She's a great dog with a great temperament and is hoping to find a loving family. Happy fall! 🍂🍁 Come meet Bessie and shake her paw. LOST! Countryside neighborhood in Sterling. He headed towards the woods near Horsepen Run. Wearing a purple collar and had on his red&black slip lead when he bolted. He will not come when called. Very skittish. Any sighting reports will be greatly appreciated! 703-560-1006.

Sadie is one of the amazing dogs saved by @Kabul Small Animal Rescue and traveled all the way from Afghanistan to find her forever home! She’s been flourishing with her foster family and they’re shocked she hasn’t been adopted yet and they say she’s “so adoptable!” Sadie is one year’s old, about 40 lbs., fantastic with other dogs (she’s submissive), great with kids, crate trained, friendly, does great in the car, walks well on the leash, knows basic commands, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and really the list can go on! She’s a fun puppy that loves life, loves to play, a cuddle bug, and would be best friends with any other sister/brother-dog siblings!

Animal Rescue Transport by HART!

Our transport van is loaded with precious lives! 🤩 Today we saved so many wonderful dogs and cats from a rural shelter in Southern VA. They've gone from Code Red to hope and tail wags! ❤ Their vetting and medical care starts as soon as they arrive in Northern VA. Many still need foster homes!! It's not too late to email us if you can foster a dog or cat, [email protected] or [email protected]. Transports like this and the vaccines, flea/tick treatments, deworming medicine, and spay/neuter surgeries for these pets will really add up and it is EXPENSIVE! You can meet August & Raine at Sunday's CAT ADOPTION EVENT!! Check out these two cuties! August and Raine have it all. They are unusually cute with big eyes (August) and a marshmallow-tipped tail (Raine). They have adorable purrsonalities. Raine thinks everyone is an instant friend and August sneaks behind you for snuggles. These two were dropped off at a shelter in South Carolina as babies without a mom and are searching for someone to nurture them. Both kittens are very friendly and enjoy spending time with people and playing with anything that vaguely resembles a toy. They would do well in most households and are looking for a forever home where they can be part of a family. Lou and Lucy thought they had found their forever home when they were adopted from an animal shelter.
