Star has some news for all her followers. As of this Saturday, she will be going to her furever home! She will be joining a beautiful family of four with a fur brother about the same age. It is very bittersweet for us, as always, but we have had Star for the longest of any foster. We have watched her blossom from a nervous, shy doggy into a confident(under the right circumstances), full of character doggy. Tons of extra snuggles and spoils before Saturday. Our dogs will miss her especially May.

UPDATE: 3/30/2020: In light of the Governor's Stay-At-Home Order, it is with a heavy heart that we are suspending any new adoption and foster applications until further notice (previous adopters excepted). We just can't jeopardize the health of our volunteers as well as potential adopters and fosters, in order to meet them for interviews, meet and greets with the dogs and our required home visits. Happily, many of our dogs have recently found wonderful new foster homes so they will be enjoying time with their foster families. We will keep you posted as things change. Stay safe everyone.. and stay home!

3/18/2020: Mutt Love Rescue is doing everything we can to ensure the health and safety of our volunteers and adopters while continuing our mission to find homes for as many dogs as possible.

Effective immediately, we will not be holding our weekly adoption events. Dogs available for adoption can be met by appointment only. Potential adopters should submit an online application at http://muttloverescue.org/application.html. Once we receive your application, we will contact you to let you know the next steps.

We are always desperate for foster homes, now more than ever. Have you ever wanted to foster a dog but never had enough time? With everyone at home practicing “social distancing” it could be the perfect time. Unfortunately, with the Coronavirus, the dog events have been canceled. Most of these dogs are in boarding 6 days a week and only get out for these events. Too much time in boarding stresses these dogs to where they start to not eat and start to give up. Also helps with expenses for Mutt Love Rescue to be able to help more dogs and pay for surgeries/boarding. Muttloverescue.org

This guy! Ooooh the cuteness!! He is one of our four new arrivals to Mutt Love. He was fortunate to be scooped up by a loving foster mom who was looking to help during this time of social distancing. There has never been a better time to make a difference for a homeless dog than now. We hope more folks will consider some short term fostering while they may have extra time hunkered down at home.
