If you’ve considered fostering, Dallas is a great option! Your heart will be so happy when you see her transition from terrified of you to wanting to cuddle with you in a matter 24 hours. Her temp foster said she’d lay in bed and Dallas would plop down next to her for cuddles. A few times she rolled on her back for belly rubs; purrs soon followed.

She’s currently located at the Burke Petco, but she hasn’t been eating much because the loud noises frighten her.

📣 We're looking for volunteers at Burke Petco!

Due to two recent resignations, we have openings for volunteers to help care for our animals. If you're passionate about pets and have some free time, we'd love to have you join our team!

Shifts available:
- Thursday mornings (between 9am and 11am)
- Every other Saturday evening (between 5pm and 7pm)

This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of cats waiting for their forever homes. 🐱

Meet Tara & Boji – Two Adorable Cats Looking for Their Forever Homes!

They can come to Northern Virginia from Kuwait with a firm foster or foster to adopt commitment. They are not a bonded pair.

Tara – 2 years old, British Shorthair
Tara is a beautiful, spayed, and microchipped girl with a gentle soul. She’s good with other cats and loves being carried around like royalty. Tara is up to date on her vaccines and has tested negative for FIV and leukemia. She’s ready to shower you with affection and make your house a home!

Boji – 4.5-5 months old, rescued cutie.
Boji is a playful and lovable little guy who was rescued from the streets. With his adorable squishy face, we think he might have some British Shorthair in him! He’s neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines, and he’s also tested negative for FIV and leukemia. Boji is ready to bring joy and energy to a lucky family.

🐾 Meet Levi! 🐾

We have an adorable Scottish Fold looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home! Levi comes to us all the way from Kuwait, and he's ready to find a loving family.

Levi is about 1.5 years old, neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and has tested negative for FIV. He does have a scar on his eye that makes it a bit cloudy, but our vet assures us that he can still see just fine! 👀

Levi is a sweet, playful boy who just needs someone to give him a chance. If you're in the Northern Virginia area, have a car, and can commit to fostering or fostering to adopt, Levi could be the purrfect addition to your family!

Meet Ghibli, a charming 2-year-old Scottish Fold with stunning heterochromia (two different colored eyes) who is looking for his forever home! 🐾💙💚

This sweet boy is neutered, up to date on his vaccines, has been tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and is microchipped. He also gets along well with other cats! 🐱

He’s ready to travel from Kuwait to join us at 4Paws, but he needs a firm foster or foster-to-adopt commitment to get there.

Foster homes needed! 🐾

We’ve received an urgent request to find loving homes for three sweet senior cats. Their owner, a beloved grandmother, is experiencing rapid health decline and must move in with family for treatment. Sadly, due to allergies and housing constraints, her family is unable to care for her cats.

Here’s a bit about them:
- 3 cats, ages 8-10 years
- 2 females (one long-haired) & 1 male (orange tabby)
- All spayed/neutered
- No bite history, great with each other
- They are a bit overweight due to free-feeding, but have been well cared for
- Not used to kids or other pets, but have been around dogs (separated by glass doors)
- All are super loving and would thrive in a calm, patient home

Their owner has tragically passed away, and these two precious souls have been left alone for several months. They’ve only had their food and water refilled every two weeks by a family member who lives too far to care for them more often.

These beautiful kitties truly need a holiday miracle.

🐾 Meet Our Bonded Cats Looking for a Forever Home!🐾

We have two adorable pairs of bonded cats at the Alexandria Petco who are ready to find their loving families. These sweet kitties have formed close bonds with each other, and they’re looking for a home where they can stay together! 🐱💕

🐾 Boba and Lola:

Meowdy! My name is Boba and I am from the great state of Texas. I know I look very serious while sitting in my cage-but truth to be told I am keeping an eye on my ocean front property in Arizona. I am here with my sister, Lola. We are a pair of bonded Maine C**n (the real deal) kitties. I like soft beds, and soft pets. I need a very patient and understanding home as I am new around these parts.

My name is Lola and I am from Houston--Houston, Texas.I came here with my brother Boba. We are two Maine C**n kitties--but enough about us let me tell you about me. I love to explore and climb to new heights. I like to be petted, but I am not too sure about being picked up. I am still undecided about being brushed. I like conversation. I love playing with toys. Speaking of playing, I am pretty much unfazed by other cats and the sound of dogs. Welp, I am also spayed, neutered, and microchipped. Boba is too

🐾 Marbles and Stripey:

Marbles is a very cautious and curious cat. While she can be introverted at times, she's not afraid to speak her mind and loves chasing after a toy (or a bird or a squirrel or her siblings). When she wants pets and affection, she is open to all the head and back scratches, and can be quite the lap kitty. She can be jumpy at times but when she warms up to you, she will sometimes become a sleeping scarf around your neck! She's fully proficient at using the litter box.

Stripey has a lot of personality and is very curious about all of the things around her, so she's not afraid of exploring new areas. She also likes being held for affection, and getting pets of all sorts, though she enjoys her nap time. She may start out very cautious, but she warms up really quickly and is always looking for the next game or toy or meal. She's absolutely obsessed with Purrrees of all flavors, and is great at using the litter box. Though she loves her meal times, she's also very patient and polite, and will be ready whenever you are.

Meet Basil! She is a 1 year old playful and gentle girl. Her favorite thing in the world is playing. She loves all kinds of toys including lazors, squeaky mice, balls, and her favorite ribbon wand. She makes the cutest little merp, chirp, and trill sounds when she’s on the prowl or just to say hello. She hops, jumps, and runs when she gets extra excited and loves to jump out and surprise you when you walk by! After playing she loves to lay in a funny pose on her belly with her legs straight out.

Though she is not a fan of being held, Basil is a loyal friend who will happily follow you from room to room, content just being near you. She’s not a lap kitty, but will snuggle close to you for a nap. She is affectionate and loves pets and chin rubs. She makes biscuits every night while she gets ready to watch tv on a soft blanket.

She has no interest in people food, so she’s happy to let you enjoy your dinner while she enjoys hers, making her a low maintenance and well behaved companion. After eating, she likes to sit by the window to watch birdies and squirrels while she cleans her face.

We have not seen her interact with children or other cats, but we think she would do well with both, particularly a cat companion. Not good with dogs.

Looking for the cutest little lovebug? 😻

Mimi is a gorgeous, affectionate four month old kitten who was left at the grooming shop by her previous owners. When the shop called them, they told the groomers to just throw her outside. And so they did, right after her grooming. She sat in front of the shop for days, scared and hungry. She is sweet and playful and great with other cats.

She is available to come to 4Paws from Kuwait with a firm foster or foster to adopt commitment.

Mimi has been spayed, current on vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been microchipped.

‼️Adoption Alert 👋 Hi, I'm Solstice! I've got a cool butterfly mustache to complement my 15 pounds of handsome tuxedo. I'm not a lap cat, but I'm told I am a great companion. I do like to be near my foster parents, and I even let them give me belly rubs sometimes. I like to play with springs and balls and my foster parents and I play with toys together. A few more things about me: - I am exceptionally good at meeting new people in the house. - I'm much calmer on car rides than other cats. - I really like to be brushed. - I let my foster parents sleep through the night. - I probably shouldn't live with kids, due to my need to attack drawstrings on clothing. I also like to hide and surprise people when they walk by. - I have food sensitivities and am limited in what I can eat. Solstice was born Jan 2023.
