Unfortunately one of our fosters is going into the hospital. That means that our The Last of Us batch of mom and 6 babies need to be relocated!

Anyone able to take them for a little bit? They should be ready to come to the lounge in a week or two...

On Saturday, November 16th we're hosting a Special Needs Cat Adoption event from 12-4pm!!!
Our partner rescues are bringing their Special Needs cats. It's often more challenging to find adopters for these cats, so we want to highlight them at a special event.
We'll have a bake sale and a craft sale as well, so come on over!

: We heard there's a Teacher Workday on Monday, November 4th! So we're doing a special event for kids from 12-1 pm. It's called Painting with Cats! We've been wanting to try this one for awhile.

We supply the paint, canvas and cats! The cost is $20 per kid and $20 per grownup. Each grownup can have up to 2 kids ages 4 and up.

Update! A foster has been found! Mama and her babies will be staying together ~ yeayyyy!

We have 8 cat arriving this Friday. Two have a solid foster but the other six's foster backed out today!!!

Now we have a crisis and we need 3 fosters ASAP. It's for a mama cat and her 5 babies. They are 5 months old and cute as buttons.

If you have a small room and a big heart, could you help us out for 14 days? They are all up to date, tested for everything, and microchipped. We are able to split them up but they have to go in pairs so they aren't all stressed out.

It's ! Sadly, it's not a very happy day for Panthro and Pumyra. They have been here 442 days! By far the longest of any of our cats. These sisters are so sweet but a bit shy, so they have been overlooked.

Do you have soda cans, pet food cans, or other metal items? We are helping one of our amazing rescues raise money so they can keep helping cats and kittens. To The ResQ is one of our biggest supporters, and we LOVE to support them!

If you have large or wxtra heavy items, we can arrange pick up from your home (or even your work). Here is the info:

First pickup for Taz’s Metal Mission will be this Saturday, September 28th at the Lounge!

Look at sweet Han in another TikTok! Han is such a sweet boy. He came to us from Kuwait and all his buddies have been adopted. He was pretty sad and Cleo, our gorgeous calico, would comfort him and play with him. She follows him everywhere and she is the only one who accepts to play with him. We can't believe that they have not been adopted yet! You can meet these two awesome cats by visiting us. We are open today from 12 to 6 PM and you can reserve your ticket on line. WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are running out of Churus and Delectables! We use them to helps medicate the cats and kittens. Han didn't steal them all 🙀 but he will fight us to keep the ones he does steal 😹 If you feel generous, please order us some from @Chewy or Amazon... The Cats will be SO happy 😻😺😻

Last weekend this kiddo came in with her mom and she fell in love with our Charm. He is very treat oriented and she taught him to sit! Check them out! They are looking to adopt so we are crossing our fingers and toes... 🙏🙏🙏

How are Sherbet and his brother Tangelo not adopted yet??? They are the best boys ever!

Our new babies from Kuwait have arrived! Nyx and Tasha will be spending 14 days in quarantine and then, after they have been cleared medically, they will be at the lounge, looking for their #furreverhome. Nyx is sleek and all black with a stubby tail and Tasha is a drop-dead gorgeous long haired baby. Nyx reminds us SO much of Venom! I don't have pictures yet because they won't stand still long enough for me to take a picture! Meanwhile Socks has arrived at the lounge and Rosie, Jessie, and Charm are coming in tomorrow. We will be bursting at the seams so go online and make your appointments to come and visit! As always; remember to wear or bring socks!

Our Mission

Our main focus is to have as many cats and kittens as possible adopted by loving families. We can’t think of a better way to showcase our residents’ personalities than our cage free lounge where you can visit and play with your future BFK (Best Friend Kitty)!

Being so close to George Mason University gives us the opportunity to be a place where students can come and spend some time relaxing with our cats.

Even though we are a for-profit company, our goal is not to make money. When a cat is adopted, the full amount of the adoption fee remains with the rescue. We charge an entry fee to cover our operating expenses.

We are not allowed to serve food due to health department regulations, however, you are welcome to bring in food and drinks purchased at University Mall on the day of your visit. Just bring your receipt!
