We cover all the beginning basics in this 7 week course. You'll learn how to communicate with your dog and they will understand you and love you for it!

The class addresses potty training, jumping, barking, leash pulling and effective communication with your dog.

3 DAPP vaccines required by the third week of class for Puppies to attend. Older than 4 months also needs a Rabies vaccine.

4-5 dogs per class.

How To Speak Dog is the gateway class for Lisa's program. The 5 week course includes Intro to Dogs in week One. Weeks 2-4 are for the owner to learn how to properly use marker words to communicate to their dog the exact moment when they are right or wrong. Dogs do not speak any language, so this helps them learn their behaviors. Week 5 is to condition in the markers to the dogs. You can come to this class BEFORE your puppy has completed their vaccines!! You will learn how to communicate with your dog in class and can then go home and practice in a safe environment. 5 weeks, $175

"The Rules" for Puppies is a fun 4 week class with games to teach the puppy impulse control. There are crate games, how to introduce "no" humanely, curbing jumping, saying hi to people, and drop it. How To Speak Dog is a prerequisite class. 4 weeks, $140

Obedience introduces the puppy to focus, sit, stand and down. The behaviors are taught as a released behaviors as well as with duration, forming the beginning of a stay. How To Speak Dog is a prerequisite class. 4 weeks, $140

Loose Leash Walking uses several approaches to teach the dog to move easily with a leash, the correct position for walking, and how to respond to speed changes and turns. How to Speak Dog is a prerequisite class. 4 weeks, $140

For all classes after How To Speak Dog, the puppy must have at least three legitimate DAPP vaccinations. Dogs older than 4 months must have a current annual DAPP and Rabies.

Hi All!

My new class is incredibly successful and engaging! People are realizing things about their relationships with their dogs for the first time. And the classes are fun! Lots of big smiles and bonding with classmates!

So, here's the schedule for July:

HOW TO SPEAK DOG
5 WEEKS $175

1. 7/22 Mondays at 7:45 pm
2. 7/27 Saturdays at 5:30 pm

NO VACCINES NEEDED UNTIL THE 5TH WEEK! YOU CAN START BEFORE YOUR PUPPY IS COMPLETELY VACCINATED!
