Thank you to Amber for letting me change Tuck’s look today to put some of Blake Hernandez’s concepts to use! Tuck is a tall, slender dude so the goal was to create more blocky shoulder and thighs and the use diagonals to square him up. For the head we transitioned from the Emilie special to Balek Hernandez’s “long legged terrier doodle” concept.

Is your groomer thorough? Yesterday I groomed a dog whose previous groomer had been cutting corners and it SHOWED. Check your dogs paw pads for neat, hairless feet. Check under their ears to see that they have been spotshaved for more air flow. Check their private parts and groin area to make sure it’s all short and clean. Do they smell really good? Are they super soft? Tail brushed ALL THE WAY? Ears combed to perfection? Lip hairs trimmed out of the mouth?? Dried all the way???
