Thank you to Amber for letting me change Tuck’s look today to put some of Blake Hernandez’s concepts to use! Tuck is a tall, slender dude so the goal was to create more blocky shoulder and thighs and the use diagonals to square him up. For the head we transitioned from the Emilie special to Balek Hernandez’s “long legged terrier doodle” concept.

Is your groomer thorough? Yesterday I groomed a dog whose previous groomer had been cutting corners and it SHOWED. Check your dogs paw pads for neat, hairless feet. Check under their ears to see that they have been spotshaved for more air flow. Check their private parts and groin area to make sure it’s all short and clean. Do they smell really good? Are they super soft? Tail brushed ALL THE WAY? Ears combed to perfection? Lip hairs trimmed out of the mouth?? Dried all the way???

When I started my shop, I wasn’t sure how I was going to get big dogs from the tub to my drying table without help. I thought of this solution but wasn’t sure it would work! To date, I’ve only had one dog refuse to get on the cart out of almost 100! I filmed apprehensive Rocky’s first time for proof!

Did you know that if you miss an appointment with your hair cutter or groomer they they are not earning anything? I send reminders, I give grace, but if you miss more than two appointments without notice you will not be rebooked at Four Seasons Pet Grooming. As much as I love you and your dog it shows a lack of respect and care for me and we all have to have some boundaries.

These two are such a cute pair! I love my new drying brush. Great for cats and dogs faces and ears! You can buy on Amazon and use at home after a bath to get that extra magic finish! Also, I have a strange obsession with chihuahuas. I don’t get a lot of them in the door but when I do, I get to pretend they are mine. Love you Charlie and Gunner!!!!
