Friends in the Wood River Valley, we are a dealer of Inukshuk! After trying several other name brands of dog food, Inukshuk has been my choice to feed working and high activity animals. We are cheaper than Chewy and will be starting with a once per week delivery to both Hailey and Ketchum. If you are looking to feed your dogs the best, give us a call!

Growing creatures in the garden. The zucchini is real big too.

Any extra produce, even the green tops from the beets, go to the chickens. Any cracked or dirty eggs go to the dogs. A little extra work for us means happier animals.

Afternoon dove hunt with friends and pups before they go home only to come back for the real 🦆🦆🦆

Both birds thrown left to right. Wind right to left. Short gun simulated flyer. Derby dogs had the double (shot long-short) with long gun retiring into the side-by-side. All age dogs got a brushed up holding blind on long station, but they had a handler thrown bumper to create a triple and work steadiness. Success rate was 100%.

Tac Tuesday! She is three and a half months old learning the ropes of fetch and having fun doing it! There is no reason to wait for a dog to be a specific age before starting training. The longer a dog is conditioned to behave in an undesired manner, the longer it takes to recondition the behavior! Take the time to teach now to avoid frustration this fall!

Field trial training test of the day. It was thrown long first then short. Wind was coming left to right off the short gun and area of fall as dogs went by for the long bird. Once sent for the long bird, the dogs lost sight of the gun two different times. One of those times the dog could see the short gunner on top of the mound. Here the dogs are supposed to be seeking and staying in the water. Once in the far piece of water, the fundamentals of a down the shore mark kick in and the dogs know to shoulder into the wind and swim past the gunner to the bird. Great training today! Even the Derby dogs were extremely successful on these marks!

Big swims to beat the heat! At 8 months old, Zippy is showing us how to mark those long birds! Water is the like a second home for our dogs, it shows when she makes the decision on her own to swim by the bank straight for the bird.
