Adopted!
Bailey’s story almost ended before it had the chance to begin again. At eight years old, alone in a kill shelter in Georgia and in need of a femoral head ostectomy, she was facing certain euthanasia. But the community refused to let her life end there. With love, the generosity of a donor and the support of our rescue, Bailey received the surgery she so desperately needed.

And she didn’t just survive ….she thrived. Bailey healed with incredible strength and spirit, proving just how much she had left to give.

Today, Bailey is no longer a scared dog waiting for a miracle. She’s cherished, safe, and adored in the loving arms of her new mom who helped her through the surgery.

We are beyond grateful to everyone who played a part in Bailey’s journey, and we wish Bailey and her mom a lifetime of love, joy, and beautiful moments together.

After spending far too long behind shelter walls, Samuel is finally getting his chance at a better life. He’s stepping into a world where love and safety come first. Though we’re still getting to know him, one thing is already clear—Samuel has a gentle heart and a quiet strength that carried him through his toughest days. We’ll be sharing more photos and updates as Samuel settles in, but one thing is certain: his days of being overlooked are over. His story is just beginning, and it’s already filled with hope.

Adopted!

Lilly was one of our rescues from Georgia who was facing euthanasia before we brought her to safety. She needed surgery, and thanks to your incredible generosity, she received the care she needed to heal and thrive.

Now, Lily is doing amazing..healthy, happy, and loving life in her forever home.
She’s become a beloved part of her community, and everyone knows her when her mom takes her out for walks.

We couldn’t be happier for this sweet girl and her wonderful family. Wishing Lilly and her mom a lifetime of love and happiness together! 🏡❤️🐶

Update from 11/1

From Alpharetta Vet Specialty and ER.

Hi Susan! Domino is doing well today. He's eating really well, seems quite comfortable, and actually has a little bit of motor functioning coming back in the back legs. Dr. Nanai is having us remove his urinary catheter tomorrow and then he'll discharge with the neuro service on Monday as long as all goes well. Have a wonderful evening, Dr. Euler

This 10-month-old sweetheart was rescued in the final hours from a high-kill shelter after being surrendered by his previous owners. Despite everything he’s been through, Brownie’s gentle heart and zest for life never faded 💛

Request for IPad Donation

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in need of an iPad (iOS 16 or newer) with internet compatibility for our thrift store in Oakland, NJ. Our current device is outdated and no longer supports the system we use for processing customer transactions.

Our thrift store is 100% volunteer-run, and all proceeds directly benefit the Rescue. We do rely on the generosity of our community to continue our mission of saving and rehoming animals in need.
