After completing her Novice title yesterday Amari moved to the Novice B class today and (even though she was distracted and wanted to play like a big puppy) she qualified in two searches and earned a 4th place ribbon for her buried search. It wasn’t our best weekend, but she had so much fun and I was reminded that she’s not even a year and a half yet. She’s done so much and made me so proud of her already.

What a crazy weekend. Amari was supposed to run in FastCat on Saturday, but the weather was too bad and the event was shut down before she got her turn. Sunday (today) we went to Lodi for a scentwork trial and Amari completed the qualifications for 3 new titles! Novice Container, Novice Exterior and Novice Interior. We then decided to drive back to Sacramento to see if we could get her runs in for FastCat. Yes! She had two VERY enthusiastic, qualifying runs. Thank you to the Hangtown Kennel Club volunteers that held onto and released her for me.
