Flea and Tick season is arriving soon! If you prefer in clinic shopping, we have a lot of our products on the shelf for fleas and ticks. If you prefer shopping online instead don't worry, we have an online store found at https://floraveterinaryclinic.com/ .

We share the site with our sister clinic in Flora but we have all the goodies for your pets that will ship right to your door. It will also go into our system showing they are up to date on prevention. These products come from our distributors so we know exactly what medications and preventions are in them. Have any questions please call either of the offices during open hours.

As the weather gets warmer don't forget to have your dogs tested for Heartworms and start prevention. It is a dangerous disease but it can be prevented with the correct medicine. Heartworms are spread by mosquitos and can be life threatening. Don't wait to get tested!

Our Friday hours has been changed to 8am to Noon until further notice. You can still call the office and leave a message, we will get it Saturday. If it is an emergency, call the office at 618-842-4884 and listen for the Vet Triage number. They will be able to assist you and the records will be sent to us for follow up appointment needs.

Do you need a dog groomer on Thursday or Friday? If so, we have just the groomer for you! Johnna groomed from her house before, but moved to the clinic on Thursdays and Fridays. She does a great job for the standard breed cuts. To check availability for Johnna, please call the clinic at 618-842-4884 and request a groom with her.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our furry friends and their families!

The clinic will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd for Thanksgiving. We will be open Friday, November 24th until noon. Saturday will be normal business hours.

Wayne County Veterinary is offering a SENIOR WELLNESS EXAM HEALTH SCREENING during the month of June. The testing is for those pets 7 years and older. The screening includes Office visit & exam, Chemistry Prep Profile & Thyroid Test and a F***l Exam. The Senior Pet Screening is $140 (regularly $175). Wellness testing can help to detect early or hidden diseases in pets that appear to be healthy, they can also be used to monitor stable but ongoing health problems.
