There are many windows for them to enjoy the scenery, and the exam tables are constructed with warm, Corian countertops. If you must wait, choose from a variety of beverages while watching television in our airy waiting room, which is also a free WiFi spot, or browse in our retail therapy area. This is Jaafar, a very sweet boy who was brought to us without any vaccination history or even proof of a rabies shot. We do know he had been allowed to roam outdoors and therefore, by law, we needed to rabies quarantine him for six months! Only the vaccinated staff and cats are allowed to interact with him.

So by day, Jaafar has to stay in one of our luxurious exam rooms as his private Kingdom, but can romp freely around the clinic after hours. His "day of freedom" with a clean bill of health is October 1st and he often meows that he would really LOVE a cozy home with soft furniture and some cuddly humans.

And speaking of LOVE, Jaafar LOVES to play and LOVES to LOVE! He is incredibly sweet. Even Jeorge, our office kitty, LOVES Jaafar, and that's saying something! He's about 18 months old. This tiny kitten was rescued by a homeless couple who found him alone and hungry out in the streets. They kindly decided to bring him to our cat hospital in Fairfield.

When we receive a homeless kitten, we always do a thorough exam to ensure there are no health issues. When we turned this furbaby over to check out his underbelly, we all broke into huge smiles upon discovering a perfect, furry heart emblazoned on his tummy!

We at Aristokatz hope that ALL homelessness will someday become a thing of the past. Spaying your cats and kittens is a great way to start.

We are so excited to have hosted the dedicated volunteers from T.A.I.L.S. - The Alliance In Limiting Strays (TAILS) who came to Aristokatz for an FVRCP vaccination training session. FVRCP vaccine protects kittens and cats against serious viruses like feline panleukopenia and 15 lucky kitties received a whole bunch of attention, protection, and love this day!

TAILS does an amazing job with all aspects of cat rescue. Now, after Dr. Katz's training session, many more beautiful felines can be protected extra early, right at the TAILS facility!

Please help Tasha! This gorgeous, 8-year-old rag doll kitty just lost her elderly owner (who had rescued her from a shelter). Tasha is still living alone in the house, and being fed by a neighbor who unfortunately cannot take her in. She is sweet, gentle, and loves human laps! This is Gracie. 🐈‍⬛ She absolutely ❤️❤️❤️ catnip, 🧸 toys, and BOARDING with us. She spends a lot of time walking (and rolling) around the hospital area during the day and hanging out with our vet techs while they eat their lunch kibble. Gracie is really enjoying her vacation!!
