📢 Last Day for Our BCR Giving Tree and Last Week for Our Food Drive🐾🍎🎄

Today is the final day to donate to Brick City Rescue’s Giving Tree. Please see the photo with giving options. Our holiday food collection drive for both humans and pets is also in its final week. Your generosity has been incredible, and we’re so grateful for the support you’ve shown to our community.

As we wrap up the food drive, we could still use more pet food donations to help ensure furry friends in need have full bellies this winter. Items like:
🐾 Dry and wet dog food
🐾 Dry and wet cat food
🐾 Treats and other pet essentials

If you’re able to donate, please drop off items at our office by the end of the week. Together, we can make a big difference for both families and their beloved pets. Thank you for your kindness and compassion! 💙

At All Creatures Great and Small providing the best care for your pets is our top priority. That’s why our team will be participating in a training session today from 3:00 PM to 5:30PM to ensure we’re prepared for any emergency situations.

During this time, we will be unavailable to assist clients or answer phones. If you have an urgent concern, please contact us before or after this timeframe, and we’ll be happy to assist you. We will return phone calls as soon as possible.

This sleek and stunning 2-year-old ball python is Casmir, and he’s as happy and healthy as can be! Ball pythons are known for their gentle nature and gorgeous patterns, and Casmir is no exception.

Fun Reptile Fact for Winter: Did you know that reptiles are ectothermic (cold-blooded), meaning they rely on external heat sources to regulate their body temperature? That’s why having a warm and cozy habitat is so important to keep reptiles like Casmir happy during the colder months!🔥

As the temperatures drop and the snow begins to fall, we’re excited to welcome the cozy season of winter! While it’s a beautiful time of year, it’s also important to keep your furry friends safe and comfortable in the colder weather.

Here are a few winter tips for pet parents:

🐾 Hershey’s Story: A Sweet Surprise! 🐹✨

This is Hershey, an adorable guinea pig born on 10/9/24, pictured here with our amazing tech Julian! Hershey’s story is a sweet surprise: her owner adopted Hershey’s mom from a pet store, unaware she was pregnant until her belly started to grow. Mom came to us for X-rays on 10/4/24, and we discovered not one, not two, but three little surprises on the way!

Guinea pigs have a gestation period of 59-72 days, so Mom had been carrying her tiny trio for quite some time. On 10/9/24, Hershey and her siblings made their grand entrance into the world, and we’re happy to report that Mom and all three babies are thriving!
