Noticing your best friend slowing down? Seeming a little more stiff after a nap? Or, maybe not wanting to go for walks or play ball for as long? Osteoarthritis could be a contributihg factor. Good news is, there are lots of options to help manage osteoarthritis discomfort or pain.

Summer weather in our area can sometimes be unpredictable, and may require emergency evacuation for events such as tropical storms, hurricanes or unexpected storms. Our practice is growing! I am thrilled to introduce the latest addition to the Bay Animal Clinic team, Dr. Emily Hudson! We are so happy to have her on board full-time with us! With adding another doctor to our practice, we will be able to better provide our community with additional accessible care of the highest standard. Dr. Hudson is originally from Louisiana and graduated with a DVM degree from The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She and her family have called Daphne home for many years now and love the Eastern Shore! Dr. Hudson has a wealth of experience in the veterinary field. She is an excellent surgeon and highly skilled clinician as well. Her laid-back, dedicated approach makes her a perfect fit for us here at BAC. In the short time since she started, she is already settling in and bonding with our other team members and clients and proving herself to be the indispensable resource we knew she would be! I am truly excited to welcome Dr. Hudson to the BAC team!

Also, a friendly reminder that BAC will be closed 7/2/2023-7/4/2023 and will reopen normal business hours on 7/5/2023. Don’t forget today is the last day for dropping off pet donations for the shelter!!

We’d like to gather as many gifts and donations that we can for the Baldwin County Animal Shelter in Summerdale. For each pet who donates an item, BAC will give a nail trim at no charge from today through Friday 12/16 between 1:30-3:30pm. Pets must be up to date on their rabies vaccination and be an established patient of BAC. Let’s give these shelter babies the best Christmas possible!
