🎄🐶 Holiday Hours Update 🐶🎄

Copley Fairlawn Veterinary Clinic will be closed on Christmas Day (December 25th) and New Year’s Day (January 1st). If needing a refill of your pet’s medications or food, please give us a call during our regularly scheduled hours. If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency on one of these holidays, please make sure to contact one of the emergency veterinary hospitals located nearby. We hope everyone has a warm and safe holidays!

Sometimes being a vet can be REALLY cool and rewarding! Today, Dr. Ashley got to neuter a USDA skunk named “Stinky Steve” who has a job for educational purposes! 😍 We *DO NOT* advocate skunks as household pets, they require a human very knowledgable in their quirks and very dedicated, but we thought we’d share the cuteness with you!!! 🦨 You stole our hearts, Stinky Steve!! 🫶🏼

Our CFVC family is growing again!! Please help us give a HUGE, warm welcome to Caitlyn, our new Practice Manager!!! 🐾🫶🏼🐶😻

Caitlyn has been in the veterinary field for about 5 years now! Ranging in jobs from working with all different species of animals to most recently helping run an Intensive Care Unit; she has plenty of experience! Caitlyn loves learning new skills and has a passion for helping clients learn what is truly the best for their pet! Client education is very important to her and how she works. Caitlyn’s goal here at Copley Fairlawn Veterinary Clinic is to help our team provide the absolute best preventative and medical care for all of your furry best friends, and create a safe and welcoming environment for all of their owners!

In her free time, Caitlyn enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Sam and their two cats, Wendy and Pearl. She loves going to concerts and sporting events, being outdoors and trying new food and restaurants!

Let’s talk about Leptospirosis! Since July 1st we have had TWO positive lepto cases that could have been prevented if the owner was educated on this horrific, ZOONOTIC disease. We can certainly speak for the owner that she wish she had!!
All of us doctors at CFVC recommend lepto as a CORE vaccine despite what Google, your breeder, your groomer says…🤔 This disease is deadly! AND preventable! Talk to us, we are here! And so is Leptospirosis!
