We have gotten several calls about people finding posts online that Purina pet foods are making them sick. We have found no recalls for Purina foods on the US Food and Drug Administration recalls page (https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts). Also, Purina has put out a statement regarding these rumors being incorrect and contacting them with any questions you may have (https://newscenter.purina.com/Purina-Response-to-Online-Rumors #:~:text=January%205%2C%202024,to%20be%20fed%20with%20confidence.).

***UPDATE*** OWNER FOUND!!
Thank you to all who shared our post to get this little girl home!

FOUND:
Female (presumably spayed) French Bulldog with dark brindle coloring.
This little girl was found running around Neil Armstrong Middle School this afternoon. She is microchipped, but, unfortunately, the microchip is not registered. She appears to have a spay scar. If you have lost this pet or know somebody who has please call us at 215-945-7900.

We wanted to make you aware of a recent outbreak of canine influenza in this area. Concurrently, the vaccine for this is on back order and we are low on our stock. Because of this, we are forwarding the recommendation of Penn Vet Ryan Hospital which is to avoid multi-pet situations like boarding facilities, dog parks, doggie daycare, etc., especially if your dog is not vaccinated for canine influenza.

We are reaching out to our Village Vet Family. If you know anyone who is looking to adopt a dog, cat or a pocket pet like a guinea pig or hamster, please consider the Bucks County SPCA in Lahaska. They were inundated with a large number of pets from two hoarding situations followed by having to take rescues from their Quakertown facility when their pipes burst! Also, I'm told there is an absolutely lovely kitty named Aurora who needs a forever home. She is a special needs kitty that is blind and FIV positive. This lovebug has been looking home for almost 2 years! If you could share this with others, we would really appreciate it.
