Group Puppy Class Update! 🐾
After hearing your feedback, I’m excited to begin Group Puppy Class: Sit, Stay & Play on Tuesday, January 21st at 6 PM!
This 6-week course is designed for pups under 6 months old and focuses on foundational skills like socialization, sit, stay, and more. A small class size ensures that both you and your pup get plenty of individual attention, allowing us to work together on the curriculum and answer any questions you may have. Let’s build a happier, more harmonious relationship with your puppy and for the love of dog-enjoy the process together.

To sign up, simply send me your email address, and I’ll send over the pre-class questionnaire. Once filled out, send it back with your payment and pup’s vaccine records and you’ll be all set!
Don’t wait—spots are limited due to the small class size, and will fill up fast!

“My name is Stevie Marie Hayes, owner of Sun Dog Boutique. After working for a local animal shelter for a couple years, I pursued my certification in dog training with the goal of making a lasting, positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners. Throughout my journey in the pet industry, I’ve seen firsthand its often cutthroat nature. While many are deeply passionate about animals, fewer are as committed to supporting the people who care for them. Too often, the compassion we show for pets is not extended to the humans behind them.
This disconnect has fueled my drive to create a safe, supportive space where compassion for both pets and the people who love them is at the forefront. I believe that by nurturing both, we can build stronger, more vibrant communities where everyone—two-legged and four-legged alike—can thrive.
This desire for a more inclusive and caring environment led me to explore other industries, where I discovered the incredible sense of community within the farmers market world. It was there that I truly experienced the power of collaboration, support, and shared purpose. 🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

I’m thrilled to announce that I’m prepping the training space to welcome clients, and I’ll be hosting Puppy Foundations 101 classes starting in January! 🐾

These classes are for puppies 6 months and younger and will run for 6 weeks. We’ll focus on foundational skills, socialization, and ensuring each pup gets the attention they need to succeed.

Class Schedule:

Tuesday Sessions: Starting January 7th at 6:00 PM
Sunday Sessions: Starting January 12th at 5:00 PM
🦴 Class Details:

Small class sizes to ensure personalized attention for each puppy
Focus on building confidence, basic obedience, and social skills
$180 plus tax for the 6-week course

Introducing Bruce’s Giving Bone: A Community Program by Sun Dog Boutique 🐾💙🦴
One of my greatest joys in opening Sun Dog Boutique is the opportunity to build meaningful connections within our community. That’s why I’m so excited to announce the launch of Bruce’s Giving Bone, a new program that allows us to support local families and shelters in need.

How It Works: I’ll be accepting gently used pet products and lifestyle items to be resold at a low cost. The proceeds from these sales will be donated to local shelters each month. This initiative was inspired by the fact that many pet products are donated to shelters, but often, they can’t be used and end up going to waste—when there are so many families who would benefit from these items, and so many shelters in need.

Why Bruce’s Giving Bone? Sustainability is a key value for me, and this program supports that cause by giving pet products a second life, reducing waste, and directly helping those in our community in need. The launch of Bruce’s Giving Bone is just the beginning—I’m eager to expand and build a sustainable program that serves as a true resource for our community.

What We’re Accepting: I’m accepting gently used items, such as:
* Leashes, collars, and bowls
* Dog clothing, toys, and interactive games
* Beds, crates, and pet accessories
* Human apparel that celebrates the love of pets

While Sun Dog Boutique currently focuses on dogs, donations for cats are encouraged as well. This program is for everyone, and I hope to offer cat products in the future too 🐾

How You Can Help: If you have gently used items that you’d like to donate, bring them by Sun Dog Boutique! Together, we can make a difference in the lives of local pets, families, and shelters in need.
