We are pretty much shocked we still have these 2 adorable puppies left from the Crayola Litter. Mountain Meadow and Strawberry are 4 months old had first vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped.

This adorable little boy is Kenny, a Terrier mix, he's around 2 years old and weighs 8 lbs. When Kenny first came to his foster home, you could tell he hadn't had alot of human touch or socialization and was very scared. With patience and love he's came a long way. He's a sweet boy, he follows his foster mom around the house and loves cuddling on her lap. He's crate trained and working on housetraining but not there yet, will need someone who's willing to continue working with him on that. He's neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, dewormed and on monthly flea treatment. He was tested for Heartworm and Lyme, he tested positive for Lyme but finished his antibiotics and doesn't have any symptoms. He does good with the other small dogs in his foster home. He'd do best in a home with someone who's home most of the time and has a fenced yard. He's still nervous with new people and situations but is a good boy and will be a great companion for the right person. Ray is an adorable 4-year-old Shih Tzu mix, approximately 15 pounds, who was recently surrendered to our organization due to his owner's health-related challenges. He is adapting exceptionally well to house training and has formed positive relationships with other dogs in his foster home. Ray is a charming and deserving companion. His adoption process includes neutering, deworming, vaccination, flea treatment, and tested negative for heartworm, positive for lyme and is on a round of antibiotics. Yesterday we were contacted by animal control about some dogs they just got in. They came from deplorable conditions and were living with a deceased owner as well as several other dogs who were deceased. A very sad situation for everyone involved. The dogs who survived had not had food or water in over week. We pulled four of these precious girls. Even though they have seen a lot, and been through a lot, they are as sweet as can be. They are thankful to be in clean and loving homes. All of them are going to require extensive vet care. They have skin issues, and they will need bloodwork, spays, and dentals. Voletta has a deflated eye that may need removed. Bunny’s skin is horrible and will require treatment. We want to get these girls healthy, so they can be adopted out. We could really use some help with vet bills. If you would like to help out we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

It’s unbelievable that Spook is still on the search for his forever home. Spook is now 7 months old but is still very much all kitten. He stays very busy and loves to play with toys and other cats. Spook is in a foster home with dogs and does well with them. He isn’t a lap can’t and doesn’t really like to be picked up and held. He does however love a pet and lovings here and there. Spook was recently neutered and the vet says this should calm him down some. Along with being neutered Spook is up to date on vaccines, flea treated, wormed and microchipped. This super cute happy-go-lucky girl is Laverne. She is an adorable little beagle weighing approx 20 lbs.

Laverne is around 2 years old and is just as playful and loving as they come. She has been having a blast playing with the other dogs in her foster home. Especially the beagles. She is very outgoing where her sister Shirley is shy and very velcro with her person. Laverne is crate trained and has been doing really well with potty training. Having only an accident here and there. So a little patience and consistency will go a long way.

Laverne would love a home with a secure fenced yard and another fur sibling who loves to play
She is spayed, updated on shots microchipped flea treated and wormed. She did test positive for lymes and is currently taking doxycycline to nip it in the bud.

Oh sweet shy Shirley you are a precious soul. Miss Shirley is absolutely adorable and loves her person to the moon and back.

Shirley is an approx 2 year old, 23 lb beagle who is totally velcro with her human. Shirley is Lavernes sister and they are total opposites. Shirley is also wonderful with all the dogs in her foster home, but she is more in tune with her person than the other dogs. But she will play some too.

Shirley is doing great with crate training. we are also working on housebreaking and doing well.

Shirley is spayed, updated on shots, wormed, flea treated and microchipped . She also tested positive for lymes and is on doxycycline to clear it up.

Shirley is so hard to get a picture of her looking happy. Lol she always looks sad in her pics. But she seems like a happy girl. She would be best in a quieter home where she will have lots of human interaction. That's what she thrives for. We have 4 puppies left!!!

Meet the Crayola Litter!!
These cuties will color your world with love!
They are doodle mixes around 13 weeks old and will be med/large dogs! These cuties have been vet checked, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, and received their first boosters!
These puppies are absolutely adorable and very sweet! As always they are puppies and will need proper training to thrive to be a great dogs! We highly suggest to take a training class or two.
Please note that we will require them to be spayed/neutered around 6 months old.

This past week we pulled two of the sweetest senior girls from animal control.

Valeria is a 12 year old Chihuahua who was surrendered with nails curling into her pads, her eyes are seriously irritated and bulging causing impaired vision. She also has fatty tumors and dental disease. We are waiting on her senior blood panel to come back, and she will be scheduled for a spay and much needed dental.

Nancy is a 12 year old Beagle who was found by an individual. The owners called and said they were hunting her and lost her. They did not want to pay the fees to get her back. Nancy was spayed this past week and had her dental. She is also being treated for Lymes disease. Nancy is enjoying retirement and being indoors.

With spays, dentals, senior blood panels and treatment for our these old ladies our vet bills for these two girls will be close to two grand.

If you would like to be a part of their new journey and help out with their vet care we would greatly appreciate it. They will also be available for adoption soon.

Yesterday our volunteers Krista, Rhonda and Camden had the privilege of going to West Milford Elementary School to provide education on adoption and pet ownership. We would like to thank West Milford Elementary School for having us and our furry friends Wallie, Wilbert and Mittens for participating. We would also like to thank WBOY 12News for capturing the fun!
