The Humane Society is full and has a LONG waiting list for owner surrenders...... Please help us adopt out our dogs that we have rescued. It is not their fault their owners did not claim them......

Today we attended the long awaited ribbon cutting for the new Marion County Humane Society. It was well worth the wait. How proud we are to have such a magnificent facility in Marion County. It is run by a great group of people that really care about making our county and its animals special. Working together, we have been able to get the stray dog problem under control in our area.
Please continue to donate funds to pay for the new shelter. They are halfway to their goal and will need continuing support.
Fairmont has needed a new animal sanctuary for a long time. This is a wonderful undertaking stemming from hard work and determination. We are very proud of your accomplishments MCHS.
