Check out this fun event we are putting on with the FFA at our local school! Baskets4Burros is a fundraiser based on the game H.O.R.S.E.
Let us know if your schools would like to participate - especially if your mascot is the Mustang and we will set you up with a fun way to raise money for your school and help The Middle Way Sanctuary at the same time.

From our herd to yours we wish you the very best for the New Year!
Zenaca has had a hard past, after losing her foal during the round up, being separated from her herd, moving out of Cañon City, meeting volunteers who loved her then being send back to Cañon City; now the volunteers who loved her are her owners and here she is resting her head on my arm so she can check out the camera. Cheers to you Zenaca for taking the steps to letting go of the hardship of your past and giving us humans the opportunity to make a better life for you!

Berelle tried a candy cane for the first time today. Turns out she feels the same way about peppermints as Scenic does about German horse muffins.
