We want you to be aware of this new information so you can make informed decisions regarding the use of Librela in your dog. The FDA has indicated that there are some recent changes to their recommendations about Librela. an injectable medication for arthritis in dogs.

We have not seen any severe problems in our patients but we want you to be aware of this new information.

"The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Veterinary Medicine has completed an evaluation of adverse events reported in dogs of various ages treated with Librela (bedinvetmab injection). The adverse events identified and analyzed include: ataxia, seizures, other neurologic signs, including but not limited to, paresis, recumbency, urinary incontinence; polyuria, and polydipsia. In some cases, death (including euthanasia) was reported as an outcome of these adverse events. The FDA is making available reports containing summaries of clinical signs reported for Librela in the CVM FOIA Electronic Reading Room."

The FDA has identified and analyzed adverse events in dogs treated with Librela (bedinvetmab injection).

Voluntary Recall of Northwest Naturals Brand 2lb Feline Turkey Recipe Raw Frozen Pet Food Due to HPAI Contamination

The recalled product is packaged in 2-pound plastic bags with “Best if used by” dates of 05/21/26 B10 and 06/23/2026 B1. The product was sold through distributors in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, MN, PA, RI and WA in the United States, and British Columbia in Canada.

It has not been sold in Ohio.
