Ryder starts our c**ts. You will hear him say he has 15 days on her. That means he rode her only 15 times- and he already has her on cows and helping her think through problems. He introduces the job applies just a small amount of pressure and gives her the opportunity to make mistakes so he can show her the right answer. His wife is on an older broke horse. So if there is a higher pressure situation she will deal with it on the solid horse. Or, if it is really high pressure, Ryder will switch horses and take care of the problem. In my opinion that is what makes a solid horse.
It is all about helping them think their way through a problem.

This young lady is offering her Gelding for sale. This horse has been very good to this young lady. They have grown together and he has been so kind to her as she advances in her horsemanship. They have given him the best care possible. I can say that they are selling better horse than the horse the horse they bought. I have ridden him- he has a great attitude - not sour or dull. Not fancy broke, but he has what he needs to be efficient. He never feels nervous or like he is about to runoff on you. I value that in anything I ride.
I think he would be good for a solid beginner of any age and enough horse for an intermediate to enjoy leveling up on. He is BIG. Stands perfectly for short ppl and a mounting block 😊
She is moving on to a faster horse. She is a very low energy rider and he is a low energy horse. He doesn’t get hot for her, that I have seen.
Her sister rides with more energy and confidence and gets more speed out of him.
He definitely takes care of his rider and will meet you where your at.
He is very well rounded and solid. He would make a great ground covering ranch or trail horse. The stride on this guy is very comfortable.

2010 AQHA sorrel gelding he stands 16+ hands high, his name is general. He is a finished push style barrel horse 3d-4d, 2d with the right rider and race. He is finished on poles as well. He is an all around horse can work cows, can be rode ba****ck, you can swing ropes off him, and he has also been in a parade. He is very broke and doesn't have issues with groundwork, loading, unloading, tacking-up, or entering gates. No buck or spook. I am getting rid of him cause I want to move up to faster and cant work multiple horses. He will take care of you if your new, I got him as much first horse and he has taught me what I know now he will go your speed and will listen when you tell him to stop, turn. He definitely is trained on feet and responds very well but also can do neck rein. He is fluent I'm both just the way your perfer. And he can be the perfect fit for someone that is beginning barrel racing but does know how to ride. Regular shoeing and trimming he can be naked but his feet get kinda sore. His teeth have been floated and is UTD on maintenance. No underline issues he is sound and will work for you as long as you need. I love him so much and want him to go to a person that will love him the same. He is the most funny and fun horse, I know. He is very reliable and can ride him whenever . He will work for you as long as you take care of him. We are asking 1🥕,🥕🥕🥕

Boomer has been released to his new home
I am toying with the idea of offering Boomer for sale. You would think I could come up with better pictures 🤪 but, I would rather you just come meet him in person.
Boomer is under 15 hands tall. Maybe 14.2 , 16 years old. He is my little sports car model.
Many of you know and love him!! He has given many lesson rides.
He is a fancy broke reining horse. He loves to sort cattle. He can play to win. Or, babysit. Whatever you require of him.
He has a little age in his joints, I give him Summit and it keeps him happy. He is a tender foot and likes shoes.
Boomer taught me so much over the last 3 years. I did not know how to ride fancy until I met him. He is now the standard I mark any other horse against. I have yet to get on another that is “Boomer” broke.
I hate to be one of those “approved home” people. But, that is where I’m at. He would not be first pick for rodeo kid games. He would totally do it for you. And do it with a pretty low head set.
He loves ranch life.
You can rope off him. I think he would like the heel side.
He has a lovely built it stop off your seat. Quick reverse.
Maybe a good size goat tying horse. He would find you the speed to get down there.
I took him to AZ last winter and did competing in ranch sorting. He really excels and makes me look like I know what I’m doing. We also did some trails in the really steep rocky terrain. His feet were good, after we found some freedom shoes. Way too much rock.
Remember I do offer boarding if you don’t have a place to keep a horse.
I would be willing to give lessons on how to bring that fancy out to his new family.
He is a horse that could teach your whole family some nice soft horsemanship hands. He is super soft in a snaffel for your beginners. And he bridles up in a spade to show one handed for your skilled rider.

Thursday is great for beginners. Hour sessions available from 9- 2 pm.

Friday 9- 12 is for intermediate and up. $100 for the horsemanship class.

We are looking for some cattle to rent for sorting practice clinics and jackpots. If you have 10 or so cattle you would rent please contact me. Roped out roping cattle would work great.
They are not worked hard!! They are mostly at a stand + walk. They are less stressed if they are used to horses. We sort them out of the round pen. We would gladly do some trading too. Maybe hay for rent 🤠
As interest is generated we would like to build up to having some sorting jackpots in the fall.
Sorting is something that anyone with a little riding experience and a broke horse can do. The clinics are designed to set you up for success when your ready to pay an entry fee.
We can still take a couple youth and adults.

We are still looking for an electric eye to borrow. If we don’t find one we will do it the old fashioned way with a flag and timer.
We will be looking for a few helpers to make this happen.

We had a great experience at the BLS sale. Billings Livestock Horse Sale The highlights for me were 1. I tried something new. I have never sold a horse at a consignment sale before. 2. Blu did amazing!! I’m so proud of how he handled himself in a strange and stressful environment. He was mature way beyond his age. The only place he showed stress was that he did not drink well. 3. He went to a man in MC. The guy had called me last week about him, came to see him Saturday am. Then went home to bid online. He has big plans for Blu and has been wanting 20 years for a horse like him 🤠 This was so unexpected for me!! I expected a ring sale to be cold and impersonal. I couldn’t be happier with our sale experience. If the chance arises. I will definitely do it again.
