Our last baby has a home we will no longer breed Rex rabbits only Flemish

We said good bye to our big boy today. Fix our one Flemish got a wolf worm in his neck ( I have never in my life have had this happen ever even living on a farm) he started getting really bad with loosing weight I take it from not eating and the vet today said they would try everything they could do to save him but she really doubted he would make it. He had seized 2 times in the vets and she took it upon herself to put him down so he wouldn’t suffer home. Now ik many are probably thinking it’s just a rabbit. But I get my animal loving side from my dad. He would do anything to save a animal ecspecially if it was suffering. My compassion came from him. We are the animals voice and we should always do what’s best from them no matter what the animal is. Cj is alittle upset but I told him it’s the way of life these things happen. It was definitely a learning experience for me on what to do and what not to do if it happens again. For people to know what to look for this is the hole the worm came out of
