Some of the trails, across SR-203 from the arena, have been closed due to “environmental and safety concerns.” The area, known as Campbell Global Snoqualmie Tree Farm and Tokul West, has had unfettered bike trail development that was not permitted by King County. Thus the closures. The trails have to be retroactively permitted.

The trails noted on the map will be closed until a review is done and Campbell Global decides whether to go through with the permitting process.

We are staying on top of the situation to see how it might affect equestrian use up on the hills. The Snoqualmie Valley Trail remains open.

Okay community… your mom does not work here! This pile is just one of several that was left behind in the Fall City Arena and at one of the hitching rails. As the sign says, pick up after yourself. Leaving crap behind does nothing to make the arena experience positive for other users or create a positive impression of the horse community with the general public, who also has a right to use the park. Please treat the arena, parking lot, and surrounding areas as if they were your own. Bring a manure fork and muck bucket with you. Thank you for doing your small part.

A FRIENDLY REMINDER
The Fall City Arena is a shared space that we all need to respect and care for. Lately, there’s been p**p left in the arena and parking lot. Remember…”your mom doesn’t work here.” Thanks for picking up after yourself so we can all enjoy the arena and trails.

Fall City Arena has been a place of so many memories over the years. It’s a wonderful community asset that needs some loving care to bring it back to its former glory. Join with Friends of Fall City Arena in revitalizing the surface and maintaining a facility that will bring back clubs, shows, playdays, trainers and equestrians who just want to have fun.

The County has committed $14,000 through a community grant. We just need to come up with the funds to cover insurance and a new arena groomer.

We know the equestrian community will come together to make this public venue something we can all enjoy and create new opportunities for kids and underserved communities who long to discover the joy of the horse.

Join us and donate today! Every little bit helps. https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=QLV993H868VJE

We are about to sign a CPG Grant Agreement with King County for the rehabilitation and supplemental maintenance of the Fall City Equestrian Arena. We have an open position on the Friends of Fall City Arena board of directors for a treasurer to help implement that grant and manage the finances of the organization, including further grant awards, donations, sponsorships, and membership. A background as a CPA, bookkeeper, or financial planner is preferred. An equestrian would be nice, but a love of horses and community is all that’s needed. We are an all-volunteer organization.

If you have a background in finance and want to help revitalize this unique community asset, message us to learn more. If you don’t have a financial background, but still want to help, we are also looking for board members with backgrounds in fundraising, communications, business management, human services, member development, and more. Come join us!
