Our mission is to meet the needs of underserved animals, reduce unnecessary euthanasia, and strengthen the human-animal bond. We hope to accomplish these goals by:

• Coordinating and facilitating the use of donation and grant monies to meet the medical and surgical needs of shelter and rescue animals
• Providing affordable wellness services for animals regardless of ownership status, owner income

or residence
• Promoting and strengthening the human-animal bond through education, community outreach, and personal service. Pet Partners is a 501(c) (3) organization that was initially established in 2000 to help solve the animal over population problem by offering low-cost spay/neuter and wellness services. Founded by former shelter staff and volunteers, the clinic was quickly welcomed by the pet-owning community and has performed over 18,000 surgeries and seen over 30,000 clinic visits in the last 12 years. During this time we have in turn welcomed any pet, regardless of the owner’s income level and residence.

🚨Help Jambalaya get her second chance🚨 We were contacted to help this beautiful girl found as a stray. She was living on the streets trying to overcome an upper respiratory infection and broken femur. Under the loving care of Jen, our dedicated volunteer, she's regaining strength. Your generosity will ensure the medical aid she needs to thrive and help us get her ready to be adopted into the home she deserves ❤️

Kodie is still looking for her forever home!

Kodie is a beautiful adult DSH black cat. She is currently one of our free roamers and is friendly with other cats. She can be shy but will greet volunteers, especially when it’s time for treats! Kodie likes snuggling up in a cozy bed, lounging in sun spots, and climbing on top of her friends’ cages to get a better view out the window.

If you think Kodie would make a great addition to your family, please contact us for more information or stop by during our open hours on Wednesdays from 6pm-8pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm.

At Faxon Animal Care and Adoption Center, we have a variety of volunteer opportunities that help ensure the well-being of our animals and make a lasting impact in their lives. We rely on the kindness of volunteers like you to provide the love and care our animals deserve.

We are specifically in need of volunteers to:

🐕 Socialize our dogs – Help build trust and comfort to prepare them for their forever homes.

🎃 Participate in our upcoming Trunk or Treat event – Join us for a fun, family-friendly event to raise awareness and funds for the shelter!

🧹Shelter Maintenance – Assist with keeping the shelter clean and organized throughout the day.

Volunteer Hours:

Monday – Friday | 8AM -4PM Hours vary by task.
Each volunteer will be assigned a dedicated 1-hour time slot once a week.
