A Little Something About Me...

Hello! My name is Azaria and I have been an animal lover for as long as I could remember. When I was little I always wanted to help in some sort of way.

Right after I graduated high school in 2008, I wasn't sure what I really wanted to do as far as a career and I wasn't huge on school so I wanted to take some time off. My mind was so indecisive; maybe working with kids, being a music teacher, or working as a therapist/social worker. All in different areas. I happened to have family that worked at a local Vet Hospital and I love animals so I started volunteering and did that for about a year.

I also had a family friend ask me to help out with some pet sitting jobs they had. I ended up loving it and wanted to continue with it. Then some years and small jobs later I was asked if I wanted a job at the Vet Hospital I had volunteered at (started in 2015) and kept pet sitting on the side for the extra cash. I love it and would not want to do anything else!

Animals make me happy; yes there are some bad days but there are always good days; especially when new puppies or kittens come in for there wellness checks. After working at my office for four years I decided I wanted to go to school for more education and to get a Certification of some sort. I ended getting my Veterinary Assistant Certificate in 2018 and feel a little more official. My next goal is to go back to school again and get my Registered Veterinary Technician License.
