PARVO is, and always has been, in Fallon! We have seen quite a few cases in the last month.

It isn't killed by heat. It isn't killed by freezing temperatures. The most commonly affected age group is between weaning and 6 months because that is the group usually not protected by maternal antibodies or vaccines.

Vaccination is the only safe way to really protect your dog and help prevent these outbreaks.

Symptoms to watch for include lethargy, not eating, acute onset diarrhea, vomiting and the ‘parvo smell'.

Chuie & Puppy are in need of a new home or homes! They do not have to go together but have been together for two years. Unsure of their ages, unfortunately.

Puppy is the sweet pitbull type dog. He is fixed, friendly with all people even children, as far as we know friendly with all animals as well, and he even walks well on a leash!

Chuie is the sweet healer. He is not fixed, however he walks well on a leash, is sweet and has done well around children!
