We wanted to express our appreciation to everyone that donated towards the new motor for the swamp cooler! We cannot say thank you enough. The motor is on its way and in the meantime, thankfully the weather has cooled down some and we have figured out a system so that it stays cool in the daycare until it arrives. I am so sorry for the short notice but our swamp cooler is broke and we were unable to get it fixed today. Since the weather has been so hot, we feel it is in everyone's best interest to close tomorrow, Tuesday the 11th. We will also be texting and calling as many people as we can to let everyone know. Again I am so sorry for the inconvenience.

We hope this message finds you and your furry companions in great spirits. At Maggie's Playhouse, LLC, we cherish the trust you place in us to care for your pets, and we're excited to share some updates regarding our pricing structure, effective April 2nd, 2024.

New Pricing Points:
Our valued clients in the military, police, or firefighting services—both retired and active—will receive a special rate of $17 per day per dog.
Your dedication to your furry friends is admirable. For those on a fixed income. The price per dog, per day for you will remain at $15.
Our standard rate for all other customers will be $18 per day per dog.

Special Consideration for Multiple Dogs:
For families with multiple dogs, we understand the importance of affordability. The first dog will be charged at the applicable rate based on the categories mentioned above.
Subsequent dogs brought in by customers after their first will be charged a reduced rate of $15 per day per dog. This ensures that families with more than one furry friend can continue to provide them with exceptional care without added financial strain.

We want to be transparent about these changes, which allow us to maintain the quality of care you've come to expect from Maggie's Playhouse, LLC. We appreciate your understanding during this transition and want to assure you that our commitment to providing the best possible service remains steadfast.

We will be trying something new in the coming days regarding our parking lot! Our hope is this will allow for a better experience with pick ups and drop offs.

We will have large traffic cones out each day during our busiest times!

We ask that our customers park between the cones to conserve parking space.

The team at Maggie's Playhouse went to Reno today for a day of fun! Thank you to our customers for the group Christmas money gifts, it was used very well. We had a blast. There was even a dog there we got to play with LOL

I just wanted to give a heads up, with the news of this new virus going around for dogs that we will not be taking in any customers that have been boarded or been to another daycare for 2 weeks after the fact. I know this is going to hurt us for after Christmas, but this is what is best for the dogs. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Take your time! When you start to introduce anything new into your dogs life it’s important to go at a slow pace and help them process the situation.
Here we can see Shannon sitting with a young pup in a kennel.
She is communicating a calm confidence to the dog and reassuring him that there’s nothing to stress about.
She doesn’t touch him, talk to him, or interact with him.
Instead she is leading him by her energy.
