Puppy Training
When we arrived at our new client's house for our first session of the Polite Puppy program, we learned that little Azu was dashing out the front door whenever the opportunity arose. The solution? Knowing this puppy was already rocking her "wait" cue before every meal, we devised a plan to set up a place where Azu could do a down stay in the hallway while her humans dealt with whoever was at the front door. Check out this 17-week-old puppy absolutely killin' it with her newly learned "place, sit, down, stay" with her incredibly dedicated owner who clearly has been practicing this with her over the last 24 hours! Bravo!! (Want to learn more about Polite Puppy? Check it out here: https://www.unleashedabilities.com/puppy-training
friends at any age and any size!
Finding a playmate for your puppy doesn't have to be hard - don't overthink it! Puppies don't need friends to be of the exact same age or size ... they just need someone who has a similar play style. Watch Emmie, a six-year-old, 50-lb dog play with tiny Mabel, a 14-week, 6-lb peanut!
This is Billie. She’s just 12 weeks old, but she loves a job, and by making training a fun game for her, it means she can do some pretty cool stuff at a young age. This fun game will eventually translate into her owner being able to ask her to go to bed and hold a down stay when the doorbell rings. Billie will be safe - no running out the open door - and the owner can greet her visitor at the door without puppy shenanigans. Good girl, Billie! Good girl! 💕
🙌🙌 to this 4 month old Puppy Headstart student, who stuck to his “down stay” in the middle of the very busy Mosaic district today! Watch him here as he watches another dog and humans walk past … without once rising from his down. Good boy!
These two are already best friends, even though they just met 🐶
What a weird way to lay on a placeboard, Bernie!
