If you do not remember where you registered your chip and have the number visit this link

When you find where the chip is registered make sure they have your updated information, name, tel # , etc
There are other additional reliable chip registries than are listed on this post, 24 Hr. Pet Watch is also a very good one.
They do not all charge. Some charge a 1x lifetime fee, others are free just to register and are always available when scanned, others have a yearly fee which gives extras like virtual flyers and other amenities.
Microchips help bring dogs home but they are only as good as the information they contain.
