Our sweet Elsa passed away yesterday in her fluffy bed.

After the terrible storm we had, Elsa the goose collapsed and couldn’t walk.
Took her to the vet and found out she has a heart condition and fluid in her lungs.
The stress of the storms pushed her over the edge.
She’s on heart medication now, and will be my office goose.
Hopefully she’ll recover and be able to move back outside, at least during the day when it’s nice out.
She’s a sweet girl.

I’m so excited for Saturday. We’ve got new members joining our farm that I can’t wait to share with you all!

Stood perfect throughout the whole process. Now she’s just following me around and hanging out like a good girl.

Tink got a nice summer shave today!
She did great!
I’m always so surprised by how much fur comes off of her.

I bet Moxie feels as light as a feather and as cool as ice now that she’s got all that stuck shed off.
All this fur is from almost 4 hrs using a slicker brush to save her coat from needing to be shaved.
She handled it like a champ with several breaks and loads of treats. Can’t wait to see her again!
