🐶🐾 Did you know!? 🐾🐶 Grooming isn't all about just making dogs look cute, it's essential to a healthy pet! Matting cuts off circulation to the skin which leads to discomfort, bruising, rashes and sometimes skin infections due to the skin not being able to breathe and stays moist creating the perfect environment for bacteria to grow. This is why it’s important to keep your pet on a regular groom schedule at home and with a professional! Depending on how long your pets hair is you need to be brushing anywhere from at least twice a week to daily to insure those mats and snarls aren’t forming. Then bringing them in for a groom at least every 8 weeks (again sooner if they have longer hair). Nails are also a very important part of your pets health and should be done at least every 4 weeks to insure nails are staying short. Long nails can cause difficulty in walking and have lasting affects of arthritis and joint problems.
