Dr. Haroldson grew up on a farm in central North Dakota and has always had a love for animals. After graduating from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015, she began practicing veterinary medicine in the Fargo area. During this time, Dr. Haroldson has developed a particular interest in end-of-life care and the human-animal bond. She realizes that these final moments with a
beloved pet are incredibly important and should be handled with care and compassion. In order to enhance her ability to provide quality care, Dr. Haroldson pursued additional training in fear-free veterinary medicine and rehabilitation and physical medicine. She believes that a fear-free approach is crucial in creating a comfortable and stress-free environment for both pets and their owners. In her practice, Dr. Haroldson focuses on creating a peaceful atmosphere for pets and their owners during the last moments of their lives. She provides gentle and compassionate care, ensuring that pets are as comfortable as possible. Dr. Haroldson also works closely with owners to help them through the euthanasia process. She understands the deep emotional connection that exists between people and their pets, and is there to offer support and guidance during this difficult time. In her personal time, Dr. Haroldson enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. They share their home with two labradors, two cats, and one crested gecko. She enjoys outdoor activities such as biking and spending time at the lake.
