Breeding ball pythons isn't always rainbows and unicorns. Although all 6 eggs looked good from the start, some have gone bad, even when the temperature and humidity is where it needs to be. Not all will make it through the full term and it sucks losing eggs, for whatever the reason is. One thing that will keep you going and being positive is watching the snakes you have grow. This guy was a huge pain in the ass to start eating, I believe it took 3 months after he was born and purchased, to start eating regularly. He is still small but has grown a decent amount in the time I've had him. Due to his genetic make up, he will continue to get "cleaner/brighter" as he ages, and with each shed it shows. I cannot wait for him to be full grown and 4+ years of age, here's to roughy 7 months with many more to come!

Another fresh shed for this guy! He is currently sitting at 115 grams! He is definitely on the small side for his age, but for someone who didn't want to eat when hatched he's growing amazing!

I haven't posted any updates pics of crew in awhile, so here ya go! Here are all 9! Number 10 has been paid for but it's been way too cold to ship,, I'm planning on going to pick it up beginning of April though! Under each picture I labeled them as male/female and the genetics of them, the 2 Lessers were bought as a male and female breeding pair, but I was bamboozled. They are believed to be both males.

1.0= Male
0.1= Female
0.0.1= Unconfirmed S*x.

It's been awhile since I've posted updated pictures, here are a couple pics from a few weeks ago. I believe both of these females are gravid and both shed last night! There should be eggs in the near future, in roughly 36 days they should lay eggs and roughly 58 days after that the eggs should hatch!

He has been pounding down food consistently over the last few weeks, came home today to see he fully shed while I was at work! I cannot wait for this guy to grow up!

This picture might be a couple weeks old, BUT, bones is in a deep shed right as of this morning. In a few days he should have a full shed. Once he sheds, he will be so bright! I cannot wait for him to shed and to show you guys how amazing he is! Stay tuned!

Nothing real exciting going on over here. Since coming back from vacation, all the snakes have been hammering down food and half of them have shed! I still haven't seen any type of ovulation, but it's still really early in the season! Here's a couple of updated pictures of a few snakes!

Here is a size comparison of an average breeder female to a baby. An average baby is around 60 grams, although some may be bigger and some smaller. It's crazy to think that a baby comes out the egg around 10 inches long! I cannot wait for this guy to grow up and add the axanthic gene to the collection/breeding pairing!

As some a you know...I bought a snake back in October. He decided he did not want to eat.. at all. Well.. he has decided to understand what food is and has hammered down 7 meals in s row in the list month and a half. Everyone meet BONES! He is a desert spider vpi axanthic, such an amazing animal!! He even decided to talk a s**t on me already, but damn, this guy looks amazing in person!

Here are some updated weights as of last night. Both Popcorn and Scarlett are definitely ready to give me some healthy clutches this upcoming season!. Pickle Rick is the Banana Enchi hypo male who is the one who is going to be the father. Morty is a male clown, who is just under 800 grams, won't be breeding for my this year....but next year he will give me some amazing animals!

I picked this gal up a couple months ago from Robinsons Reptiles, today is feeding day so I thought I'd get some weights before I feed the 3 smaller snakes. I picked her up around 530 grams, today she is just under 900 grams, empty. By empty I mean, she hasn't had food in a little over a week and took a massive crap 2 days ago. She is growing, and once I find a decent rat breeder in Fargo, she will start putting on the weight! It's hard to see in pictures how much she's grown, but she's grown pretty well!

No matter how long you've kept reptiles, accidents happen. This gal got out of her enclosure one night last week. I woke up to find my Christmas ornaments all over the floor, tipped over, and just completely out of whack. After taking the day off and moving every single thing in the apartment, and my father coming over and helping rip the apartment apart again, she was still MIA. Well, 48 hours later, I step into my kitchen and find this bu**er coming out from under my cabinets. Yeah...she found the one hiding spot where she felt secure...it took her 3 more hours to actually come out from under there after I spotted her. Needless to say, her enclosure got some different locks on it..she's not taking a stroll through the apartment again 😅.

I know this is the exact same photo as before, BUT after pickle Rick shed I put him with Scarlett, and they locked up a few times over the couple of days they were together! I'm really hoping for some nice combos from this pair!
