🌟🐶TRAINING REVIEW🐶🌟

Louie and Henri, two English Golden Retriever siblings graduated from our 4 Week Board and Train Program. Read what their owner has to say! ⬇️

“Choosing Madee at Fetchers to train our pups was not just life changing, it was life saving.

Even though I have always felt I had a handle on our pets over the years, when I brought home two these two English Cream retriever brothers, I was not ready for the challenge that came with them. At all.

Besides seeing me as their human chew-toy, Louie swollowed 2 toys (whole) and required 2 surgeries to remove them. Henri had a hematoma the size of a large egg on top of skull from tumbling down concrete steps, wrestling with his brother - also requiring veterinary care. They were becoming celebrities at Casselton Vet Clinic for all of the wrong reasons. Every day was honestly an over-the-top struggle and my relationship with these two beautiful pups was suffering terribly.

Madee and I chose the 4 week stay-training for these two hoodlums, and hands down (including every single cent it cost) it was the right decision! She quickly estabalished respect, gave solid boundaries while challenging their ever-growing curiosities and need to learn. It was the right balance for them to grow and begin to be welcomed socially into situations without taking the whole place down.

After they graduated, I took Madee up on a follow-up home visit and this was the icing on the cake! It helped tighten everything up and answered all of those little questions that I still had once we were home. We look forward to continuing this relationship as they grow with Madee and Fetchers. We are now offering Daycare Enrichment on Saturdays!

This availability will begin on Saturday, February 1st. Drop off is between 9am-10am and pick up will be from 4pm-6pm.

Enrichment is like school for your dog! 🐾 With a dedicated teacher to guide the “class”, your pup will enjoy a mix of mental, physical, and emotional stimulation. This balanced approach helps your dog learn structure while having fun with engaging activities. 🐶

We are excited to welcome Madison as our newest Professional Dog Trainer! 🎉🐾 She is a wonderful addition to the Fetchers Training Department along side Madee who has been with us since 2023!

Madison has played an important role on the Fetchers team since 2023, contributing her expertise and care to our Social Daycare and Daycare Enrichment Program dogs and cats. Her journey with dogs began in 2016 at the Humane Society Of The Lakes in Detroit Lakes, MN and she is still with them to this day! She is dedicated to help shelter dogs in obedience training, help them get adopted, and provide an easier transition into their forever home!

In 2018, Madison’s passion for dog training truly took off when she adopted a dog with behavioral and aggressive tendencies. This experience sparked her commitment to helping dogs and their owners build stronger, happier relationships.

Madee and Madison are a great dog training duo (Don’t worry the dogs don’t get confused… but we might sometimes! 🐶) Madison will focus on building foundational obedience in young dogs while Madee addresses behaviors such as aggression, anxiety, and reactivity! Both are dedicated to helping owners become confident leaders their dogs can trust.

We offer training options designed to suit every dog’s unique needs! Whether you’re looking for Day Train, Board and Train, or customizable One-on-One sessions, we’ve got you covered!

Meet Jenny! She is our newest groomer at Fetchers alongside Katrina and Sarah. However, you may have already spotted her caring for your dog, as she has been working as a Fetchers Professional Dog Handler since June 2024! 🫧🐶

Jenny is currently in training under Katrina who has been a Professional Groomer with Fetchers since 2019. With the extra set of hands in the spa department, we have opened additional grooming appointments to shorten our waitlist and get your dog(s) looking fresh and clean!

We are excited to grow Jenny’s passion for grooming and allow her to help many dogs feel fresh and fabulous!

See below what her owners have to say! ⬇️ “When we first rescued Percy, we were quickly seeing her go from 0 to 60 in attitude. She would bark, nip, whine, and pull on her leash. We reached out to a few different resources, but none of the advice or tools helped us. We were almost ready to call it quits and give her back. A friend mentioned his dog was trained at Fetchers so I reached out immediately. Madee met with us and put a board and train plan together. We received weekly updates with her progress and were finally able to bring her home. At pick up, we immediately noticed a changed dog! She was obeying commands and seemed much more calm. Captain recently graduated from our 4 Week Board and Train program. Captain is a big, goofy, and loving German Shepard who came to Fetchers in need of some guidance on his basic obedience and separation anxiety! He worked hard each day with our trainer Madee, to grow in his foundation of basic obedience and new way of life! Congratulations Captain!
