Someone passed this onto us and we thought it was a great idea to share.
With the 4th of July right around the corner we tend to get several calls about dogs getting out, and owners frantically trying to find them. We ask that you make sure your dogs have their collars on, updated contact information on their licenses, or do something similar to the picture below !
We can not scan for microchips. We do not have a scanner, and if the vets offices are closed, we will have to transport any found dogs that are unclaimed to Lake County Dog Shelter.
We love our community fur babies and want to make sure they are safe! 🐾💕

Calling all pet parents📢

During the holiday season, and are here to help all of our pet parents with brushing basics! In this guide, expert groomer Allison Alexander will break down the basic, essential information YOU, the pet parent, need to know to keep your pup’s coat in great shape.

We’ll talk about which brushes to use, what a brushing spray is, how to prevent tangles, and more. Best of all, the live webinar includes a Q&A where you can ask Allison any question (any topic, not just brushing).

NATIONAL LOVE YOUR PET DAY
On February 20th, pet lovers everywhere observe National Love Your Pet Day. This holiday focuses on giving extra attention to our pets. The day encourages pampering our pets and focusing on the special relationship pets hold in our lives.
Did you know that most households in the United States have at least one pet? While there are more cats than dogs in the United States, more households have dogs than cats, but not by much. Pets are not limited to the canine and feline categories. There are quite a few who prefer the companionship of birds, reptiles, fish or rats. Whoever your pet companion is, we are sure you will enjoy spending a little extra time with them on National Love Your Pet Day and reap the benefits, as well such as stress relief and lower blood pressure. So on February 20 (and every day) show your appreciation to your pets!

HOW TO OBSERVE
Bring your pet a special treat, take an extra-long walk or give them more attention. Other ideas include:

Check that their vaccines are up to date.
Watch a pet video with them full of cats, dogs and other critters.
Give them a few extra strokes with the brush while grooming.
Practice their favorite commands – sit, shake, rollover.
Play their favorite game or bring out their best toy.
Inspect their toys to make sure they’re in good shape. Throw out any broken toys.
Wash their bedding, even if it’s not their laundry day. Let them fluff it up just the way they like it.
Whatever you decide to do, spoil and appreciate your pets! Use to post on social media.

We are happy to announce that we got the ok to open up the shop on Monday, May 4.
Please bear with us as we are getting all of our March and April appointments rebooked first and then we will go from there booking current clients into the schedule. We are feeling a little overwhelmed by the amount of voicemails and emails we are receiving so please be patient with us as we try to respond as quickly as we can to everyone and work through a new system of how we have to book appointments differently to operate under the Governors guidelines.
Please keep checking our page for updates
As this will be a process for us all.
We can’t wait to get back to grooming and loving all your furry family members!
Thank you all so much for the support you have given us❣️🐾❣️
