Tri Vet Associates is a mixed animal veterinary clinic, with offices in Farley, Dyersville, and Holy Cross. We cover a large area from Dubuque, to Manchester and Guttenburg, to Cascade. Our eight doctors and support staff provide veterinary services to the large and small animals of the surrounding area. Chapman, Goerdt and Rahe established a clinic in Farley. During those early years, our practic

e was almost exclusively farm animals. Now, a significant percentage of our practice is pets. Today five of our doctors focus on large animals, either traveling the countryside or providing care for cattle hauled into our facility. Three of our doctors focus on both large and small animals, also traveling the countryside as well as caring for dogs, cats, and pocket pets in our Farley and Dyersville offices. The Farley office is our main clinic. In Farley, the large animal area has pens and chutes for working cattle, a tilt table, facilities capable of handling bulls, and cattle surgery areas. The clinic also has small animal facilities that house a state of the art surgery room, medicine treatment room, new spacious dog runs and cat areas, and comfortable exam rooms. Also in Farley is a bacteriology lab, conference room, and doctor’s reference library. The Dyersville office was built in 1998 to accommodate dogs, cats, and pocket pets, although many large animal products are sold through the office. The clinic contains a spacious surgery area, medicine treatment room, comfortable dog runs, and a calm cat boarding area. The Holy Cross office serves as a satellite clinic and stocks large animal supplies for producers in the Holy Cross area.

Per owner they have found a new loving home and get to stay together!

LOOKING TO REHOME...2 pets...

This is Luna, she is a sweetie!! She is a 6 year old golden doodle. Sadly, we have had to make the very hard decision and are looking to rehome her as she has become more and more intolerant of our little ones. She really is such a lover and loves to snuggle up to her humans. She is just at the point in her life that she doesn’t like little ones pulling and tugging at her and would do very well in a home with older children and adults. She is kennel trained, doesn’t mind her kennel, and potty trained. We trained her with a bell on the door and she did very well with that! She did have a bulged disc in her back last summer so she does walk with a little bit of a limp but she does fine with it. If she is outside with us she stays by us but if she gets the chance she does like to take a stroll through the neighborhood from time to time! She gets very excited when new people and visitors come over but she settles soon after. She loves to snuggle and loves attention! She does well with older kids and men and women. She just doesn’t tolerate little ones crawling on her or pulling, tugging, or pinching her. She knows basic commands such as come, sit, stay, shake, kennel up. Does well with other dogs, has never been around cats.

This is Vinny, he is an old soul and loves everyone he meets. He is a 6 year old mix breed. He tolerates kiddos of all ages. He is a clinger and loves to be around his humans!! He is potty trained and kennel trained but does not like to be in his kennel and does have separation anxiety. He is very sweet and very snuggly! He knows simple commands such as sit, shake, come, kennel up. Vinny does frighten very easily and is especially afraid of loud noises such as motorcycles, loud vehicles, and fire works. Vinny has become accustomed to sleeping near someone and would do well with a family who can give him the time and attention he deserves that we sadly cannot.

These dogs are simply the sweetest and this is a very hard decision for us but is ultimately what will be best for them.

Vinny is microchipped, Luna is not. We would very much love for them to stay together, but understand that is not always an option.

Tito was adopted from the Humane Society in Dubuque in 2020. She was 4 months old. She had another kitty sibling and 3 dogs. Unfortunately she was kept in a bedroom with her kitty sibling and rarely let out if at all. She is not declawed. She is super sweet and took to owners home very quickly! She sleeps with owners at night and enjoys watching nature from a screened in porch. She is a very friendly cat. She just needs a special diet. The owners have other animals and cannot keep her locked up. Looking to have someone take her without having to put her in a shelter. That could be a bad memory for her🥺 We appreciate your help and so does Tito. Contact Tabitha @ 563-580-1622

DAIRY TRIVIA...

What breed of dog is Tobias?

The first 5 correct answers will be put into a drawing for 1 winner of $2.00 off any dairy products at participating locations.

We will try to do this a few times a week during the month of June.
Also we will randomly ask kids questions in the office and if they answer correctly they will receive a coupon.

Duke came in to get his final cast off…He has a little splint and wrap on to slowly transition into having nothing on the leg. What a process but it was soooo worth it. We loved seeing him and so proud of him. He is one lucky boy with a very loving family.
Some more exciting news… Duke is also a dad!!! Great things happen at Tri Vet.

We were sent this picture stating that this dog is running loose with a black lab in the Farley area - recently located between IAS and McDermott oil. It appeared this dog possibly had a blue collar but did not let the gentleman get close enough to see tags/information.
