Received my updated certificates yesterday! Continuing education is very important to me, I refresh my certifications every couple of years. Although there is no state standard in regards to grooming certification it is a priority to me to stay up to date with the latest industry trends, safety protocols, and handling techniques.

Even scruffy farm dogs need pampering and refinement every now and then! Miss Gracie spends most of her time outdoors on the farm so she got her "britches" on her rear cleaned up as well as her tummy in preparation for the snowy season so she doesn't collect snowballs. Contrary to the old wives tale that "bathing outdoor dogs in the winter is not healthy because it removes their oils"; it is beneficial to remove dead coat to allow proper airflow through the coat for optimal insulation factors, the use of quality shampoos and conditioners help to restore moisture without over stripping.
