Good Wednesday morning to you all from Will Roger’s Collisem in Ft. Worth! We are on our final day at the Chisholm Challenge Horse Show, and it’s already a great day starting with trail classes in Will Roger’s, then driving, showmanship, ranch riding and speed events in John Justin.

It was a Terrific Tuesday indeed today at the Chisholm Challenge Horse Show! Our Texas Equine show team member, Donna Minter Sedota, was there helping out and our friend Jessica Stott was volunteering too! Terrific to see Carolyn “Tinker” Buckley out there today too judging drill! The drill teams were awesome! It’s such a fun event!!

We have set up for tomorrow at the John Justin Arena and Will Roger’s Coliseum to kick off the Ft. Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo with the Chisholm Challenge Horse Show January 13-15! We are very proud to be part of this awesome event! It all starts TOMORROW!!!

Did you know Sable Island is a narrow, remote sand island located in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada.

Known for its crescent-moon shape, the island is famous for its population of wild horses, which live freely, and its unique ecosystem, which includes various bird species and plants adapted to its windy and arid climate. It's also recognized for its history as a big-movie “cemetery of shipwrecks,” due to the shallow sandbanks surrounding it. Currently, it is a protected nature reserve and an environmental research site.
A fun fact about Sable Island is that it has more wild horses than human inhabitants.

These horses, descendants of animals brought in the 18th century, survive in complete freedom and have adapted to the extreme surroundings of the island.

We had a full house for the November Grit N Grace Online Horse Show! Check out our awesome students and their equine partners:

🏅Kruthi and Dandy placed 1st in Beginner Youth Hunter Equitation.

🏅Emmeline and Dandy placed 1st in Junior Youth Western Horsemanship.

🏅Donna and Snickers placed 1st in Open Western Horsemanship, Hunter Equitation and Showmanship.

🏆Layla and Dandy have been competing in a three month buckle series. They placed 1st in Hunter Equitation and Western Horsemanship, 2nd in Ba****ck and 3rd in Ground Poles.
Layla also won the Beginner Youth Division buckle for the Fall Buckle Series!

🏆Donna and Reign have been competing in a three month buckle series. They placed 1st in Showmanship, Lunge Line, Simon Says and Ground poles.
Donna also won the Walk Only In Hand Division buckle for the Fall Buckle Series!

🏆Shelby and Ginger have been competing in a three month buckle series. They placed 1st in Showmanship, Lunge Line and Simon Says and 2nd in Ground poles.
Shelby also won the In Hand Division buckle for the Fall Buckle Series!

What a great way to end 2024! We are looking forward to our 2025 show season🏆

Snicker’s mom came to get him this past weekend. We will miss him and very excited for him. He will be helping kids learn how to ride near his home with his mom, Emily. We are happy that he worked with us a few months and wish him well and a very happy 2025!
