Trainees who are currently in our September class - we apologize for the delay of your photo introduction. We are having some technical difficulties but will have it resolved by tomorrow afternoon. Pictures will be posted by tomorrow afternoon. All trainees are doing well and making good progress!

Superzoo was a huge success! Met lots of new canine professionals that share our love and passion for our furry friends.We reconnected with some old friends like Bionic and Ruff Dawg who we have worked with for years.

We will be in touch shortly with everyone who commented and wanted to test and review some new products. We have treats, toys, games, leashes and collars, dog beds and travel accessories that we will be sending out to get your opinions.

We also have a new software system that will be online soon to help streamline everything from communication and report cards to vaccinations and scheduling.

We are excited and look forward to bringing you along and providing the best possible dog training experience.

The hunt is on. So many new products here. Treats, supplements, gear, toys, beds, anything you could possibly think of. We have met some new friends and look forward to learning about and trying their products. Reconnected with some old friends with tried and true products we love.

We will be making decisions tomorrow about what we want to bring home.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!! We hope you are surrounded by friends and family and get to enjoy the day celebrating the freedoms our great nation affords us. Please take a moment to remember that freedom isn't free and enjoy celebrating safely today!

We had some wonderful friends return to board with us in the month of June and look forward to more in July. As a reminder, we offer boarding to our client families who have trained with us. We have had a last minute cancellation which has opened up a spot for July 6-12 if anyone is in need of boarding during that time. We have very limited spots for boarding so this is a huge opportunity if you need it. We hope enjoy some photos of our June boarders!

It is rare that I post any of my "aggression" cases. For no other reason than it's not the fun part of what we do. In most cases it's not aggression but a learned behavior and can be corrected but it normally takes a professional. RICKYs (Great Dane just over a year old) aggressive behavior had gotten pretty bad and with his size needed to be corrected quickly after Animal Control had been involved. This video was day 3 of training and the first day I was able to get him out of the kennel.

If your furry friends are sensitive to fireworks please take the time to work with them prior to the 4th of July. Fireworks can be scary, but the time to work on it is NOT the 4th of July weekend.

Create a safe place by putting their crate or kennel in an interior area ensuring it's secure. You can use a thick blanket to muffle the sound.

Products such as the "Thunder Shirt", over the counter supplements such as calming chews or CBD can help but are not a replacement for good training practices.

The majority of dogs can be desensitized to stimulus such as gunfire or fireworks but it takes time and consistency. If you're not sure how to start or what to do contact a professional trainer for help.

We have completed Week 1 of training and have been having lots of fun! We are grateful for our air-conditioned "dog house" in these last few days of summer!

Gypsy is a 1 year old German Shepherd mix who is available for adoption. She was left at one of our client's properties and they have graciously paid for Gypsy to attend our Basic Training Bootcamp. Gypsy is a star student! She knows all of her Basic Commands (sit, down, stay, come, and heel) as well as 4 corrective commands (out, off, leave it, and enough). She knows her commands in verbal and hand commands. She knows her commands in English and German as well. She has wonderful house manners and is fully crate trained and potty trained. She is up to date on all vaccines, has been microchipped, and spayed. She is friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and even chickens! Chewy working on his COME command

Luna and Odin socializing and some much deserved playtime.

In partnership with Geter Ranch we are emBARKing (pun intended) on a new endeavor. SKYE seen here on her first outing to explore our training grounds has 2 brothers and 2 sisters (all Bernedoodles, Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodles) that will be available in a few weeks after their training is complete. Stay tuned and check back to meet the the other pups and see their progress!

Oakley was very excited for a field trip to the Veterinarians to update shots.

Rango enjoyed the platform but he enjoyed running past it much more🤣

Piper has been working on her COME command with distractions.

Bear is working on confidence building through agility training.

Grey might be built like a bowling ball, but he can sure fly up that platform!

Remi is working on her off-leash COME. She is a working farm dog and will be traveling with her family to horse shows, so good off-leash skills are important for her.

Not much play time outside this week. Tessa (GSD) came to us with some dog aggressive behavior. Turns out it's normal Female German Shepherd "Reactivity". We have worked through it and she on course to graduate this weekend! Thank you, Aia (Doberman) for helping Tessa build her confidence with other dogs.

Obedience is an important aspect of dog training. Behavior plays a much bigger role in day to day human/canine success. While at Bootcamp we teach good decision making instead of "puppy proofing" when it comes to choosing appropriate chew items. Rainy days gives us lots of practice. * Trainee SOLO showing how it's done.
