There are two major things wrong with this! This is a "professional" board and train facility!
1. The dog is attached to a retractable leash
2. The leash is attached to the e-collar
Retractable leashes are awful! You have no control of your dog with a retractable leash! I dont care how "trained" your dog is, retractable leashes are HORRIBLE! As far as the e-collar, great communication tool for off leash work, but attaching it to a retractable leash is the worst thing you can do! Put a flat collar on the dog! Put a prong collar (correctly placed)! Please never purchase training gear without the proper knowledge of use! I feel awful for these dogs! Never pick a training facility without research! Honestly I wouldn't even recommend board and train because you have no idea how to handle the dog when they return!
