Did you know that pets burn extra energy trying to stay warm in the winter? 🐾

As the temperature drops, their bodies work harder to maintain a cozy core, which means they may need a little extra food to help replenish those much-needed calories. 🐶✨

But that’s not all—staying hydrated is just as important! Keeping their water bowls full ensures they stay well-hydrated, which not only supports their overall health but also helps prevent dry, flaky skin during the chilly months.

Because being this adorable is exhausting! 🐾😴

Did you know? Nearly a third of Dalmatians are deaf in one ear due to the absence of certain cells in the inner ear, a trait common in piebald animals. 🐶

But here’s some encouraging news: over the past 26 years, the number of Dalmatians with hearing loss has decreased significantly! Dogs deaf in one ear have decreased by over a quarter, while cases of deafness in both ears have been cut in half. This progress is great news for our beloved spotted friends! 🖤🤍

While it might seem tempting to give your cat a bowl of milk as a treat, not all milk is created equal! 🥛

Once weaned, most cats are lactose-intolerant, meaning cow’s milk can lead to digestive issues. If you want to treat your cat, opt for water-rich foods or a splash of goat’s milk, which is gentler on their system and safe for both kittens and adults.

Hydration is key to a happy, healthy cat, so keep fresh water available—and save the milk myths for cartoons! 🐈 ✨
