Our catfe' is the purrfect place to stop in for a coffee, snack or a quick bite; or just to spend some time with our adoptable cats and kittens! As a completely volunteer-run catfe' we pride ourselves on doing everything we can to take care of our cats, kittens, and human guests alike. And, as a vegan cafe', we try to do our part to save the planet and other animals as well to make our world better for everyone in it!

The Catfé has a slew of new kitties!!! 🎉 If you have plans this weekend, cancel them! You won't want to miss meeting our newest residents. As you can see from the photos they're all precious and we can confirm they're full of personality.

We have three new Persian cats - Nova, Susie, Q and Daisy - who are so sweet and making themselves comfy in their own private room. 🤍🩶🤎

And returning to the kitten room is the Friends crew - Chandler, Joey, Ross, Mikey, and Rachel - and they are a hoot! 👯‍♀️👯👯‍♂️

✨Welcome to the catfé, Teacake and Crumbcake!! ✨

Last week we welcomed these sweet bonded kittens to our Kitten Room and they were quick to win everyone's hearts over! With their unique markings and sweet personalities, anyone would be lucky to adopt these two kitties. 🐈🐈‍⬛

While we understand there can be some apprehension to adopting two kittens at once, we actually recommend it as it provides your kitty with a built-in buddy and actually helps make your life easier. Need more convincing? Check out these reasons on why two kittens is better than one:

👯‍♀️ Socialization: Kittens learn essential social skills from interacting with other cats. When they grow up with a companion, they learn how to communicate, play, and share space. This can reduce behavioral issues like aggression or shyness in a single-cat household.

💞 Reduces Loneliness: Having a companion helps prevent loneliness and separation anxiety. While you're at work or away from home, two kittens can keep each other company and comfort one another.

🏠Easier Adjustment: Moving to a new home can be stressful for kittens, but having a familiar companion makes the transition easier. They’ll have each other to rely on, which can help reduce stress and make them feel more secure in their new environment.

🧠Exercise and Mental Stimulation: Two kittens will keep each other active and engaged. Instead of relying solely on you for playtime, they’ll chase, pounce, and explore together, providing each other with exercise and mental stimulation that a single kitten might lack.

🏆 Better Behavior: A solo kitten might get into trouble if left alone for long periods, but two kittens are more likely to keep each other occupied. They’re less likely to develop bad habits like excessive scratching, biting, or crying for attention.

✌️ Double the Love and Fun: While adopting two kittens means twice the work in some ways, it also means double the love, cuddles, and joy. Watching them interact, play, and grow together is incredibly rewarding!

Meet Jenny! 💕 This stunning silver tabby found herself alone and pregnant in a tough neighborhood, but her story took a happy turn when a kind soul opened their door. The very next day, Jenny welcomed three precious kittens—Pancake, Tea Cake, and Crumb Cake—into the world! 🍰

Now that she's raised her babies, Jenny deserves a home where she can be the one who's spoiled! She just celebrated her 1st birthday last month, is sweet, easy to care for, and absolutely beautiful (as you can see!). At just over 8 pounds, she’s a tiny girl with a big heart. 🩶
