Are you looking for a cuddly and confident adult cat? Juno is available for adoption through ! She was found as a stray (estimated 7 years old) and has obviously had a bit of a hard life—came in with missing and fractured teeth, a slit in her ear, and tested positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). That being said, she is a totally happy and healthy cat. Cats with FIV can live long, fulfilling lives, and can live with other cats as long as they’re friendly—it just means she may be a little more prone to getting sick more often. She’s the head of my household—sleeps with me every night, tells the other cats what to do. I wrote in her bio she may prefer to be an only cat as she seemed to be a bit intimidating to my cats at first, but may have to change that (see picture 3!). I also have no doubt that she would do just fine with respectful dogs and kids. If you are interested in meeting Juno, submit an adoption application today! Send decompressing vibes! This is Honey. She is 11 months old and came from a house with too many cats, pregnant by her brother. She was just transplanted yesterday from the house she’s known since birth to my foster room and has been hiding behind my desk for about 24 hours now. She’s described as sweet and cuddly once she warms up. Excited to have babies in the house in a few weeks!

Juno saw a vet today and is officially…not pregnant! I sent a video the other day of kittens moving in her belly. Funny how you can convince yourself of what you’re seeing. I was getting excited for a birth, but this is good news really. Already far too many cats being born and not enough homes! Sweet girl will be spayed soon and available for adoption.

In my Siamese era. Meet Graham, the recently TNR’d stray kitten deemed too friendly to be released back to the outdoors. Graham is recovering from some bite wounds from another cat—the surrenderer heard a scuffle prior to him bolting for cover in her garage and hiding for 3 days. He has an indent on his tail and patches where fur may or may not grow back due to his wounds. So far in my house he is cautious but tolerates petting and grateful for food. He is named Graham becomes he needs to gain some grams.

Meet new foster boys, Pavlov (tabby) and Skinner (lynx point). They were found together in a townhouse complex in Burnsville and brought to animal control. They are thrilled to be out of a cage racing around a room of their own, and are already excellent at operant conditioning: purrs when they’re fed or pet, growls when the other gets too close to their food. I was told they were 6 weeks old (definitely not)—they look 3-4 months to me!

Sweet adoptable tabby girls Bach and Brahms have moved to the adoption center at St. Louis Park Petsmart. It makes my heart a little sad putting them in a cage and walking away, but I know it is amazing exposure for them to find their forever home quicker. They are perfect, cuddly, playful kittens, 4 months old.

Made the tough decision recently to transfer Chewy to another foster who has a better setup for him—yard to play in, another dog to teach him how to “dog,” and experienced with puppy training. Sounds like he is making good progress with his mouthiness and leading a more enriching life!
