Beautiful is the way a puppy’s love fills your heart, one paw at a time. My little Ironman boy shows that 100%!!!
Birds of a feather!! Together through it all, because a puppy’s loyalty is unbreakable. Hulk mini goldendoodle #dogmemes
This is when it really gets busy over here!!! Keeping puppies clean is a lot of work!!! There are at least 2-3 puppies a day that need a bulb bath or a wipe down. I put the kids to bed. Throw on a show. And get going. Took me an hour to do 5 puppies. This is Batgirl! She did great for her first time with the blow dryer. She didn’t love it but she did ok.
Nothing like puppy snuggles!
This is a reminder to trim your dogs eye fur!

It seems so hard and not a good thing for the puppy. But I can assure you…done correctly it can be one ofthe best things for your puppy!!!! Crate training offers several benefits for both dogs and their owners: 1. **Safety and Security**: A crate provides a safe space for your dog when you’re not home, keeping them away from hazards or things they might chew on. 2. **Prevents Destructive Behavior**: When left unsupervised, dogs can engage in destructive behaviors like chewing furniture or getting into dangerous situations. A crate helps prevent these issues. 3. **Housebreaking Aid**: Crates can be helpful in housebreaking because dogs instinctively avoid soiling their sleeping area. This encourages them to hold their bladder until they are let outside. 4. **Travel Safety**: Crates are a safe way to transport dogs in a car, helping prevent distractions and keeping them safe during travel. 5. **Calming Effect**: Many dogs view their crate as a den or retreat, providing them with a quiet, comfortable space to relax and unwind. 6. **Establishes Routine**: Crate training helps establish a consistent routine, giving your dog a sense of structure, which can improve their overall behavior. 7. **Behavioral Control**: For puppies or dogs with behavioral issues, crate training can help reinforce good behavior by limiting access to areas of the home where mischief might happen. 8. **Helps in Boarding and Grooming**: If your dog needs to stay in a kennel or undergo grooming, being familiar with crates makes these experiences less stressful. When used correctly and humanely, crate training can create a positive and structured environment for dogs.
Why is this good? Reduces Fear and Anxiety:Desensitization involves gradually exposing puppies to new sights, sounds, and experiences in a controlled manner, starting with low intensity and gradually increasing it. This helps them learn to cope with potentially frightening situations, reducing their overall anxiety and fear. Facilitates Handling and Grooming:Desensitization can also make puppies more comfortable with routine handling and grooming procedures, such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and brushing. This makes these necessary tasks easier and less stressful for both the puppy and the owner. Builds Trust and Confidence:When puppies are exposed to new things in a positive and controlled way, they learn to trust their owners and rely on them for guidance. This builds a strong bond and makes training easier.
