I finally paired my Rex/Drex/Satin females to a Russian Blue Harley male! They were mating immediately, so date of conception is around 4/9/23. I will be posting updates!

Some bad news that I suspect these black dwarfs are not dwarfs, I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

I’ll be pairing my dwarf rats in the next few days, I already have a bin ready. I‘m taking my time temperament testing, as this is a new line here in the rattery. But they show a lot of promise! Mildly skittish until you pick them up, then they’re content to sit in your hands.

I find it a little confusing, but I just have to get to know the biological temperament of the dwarfs. They’re a rich glossy black and some are self! I’m expecting a lot of dumbos and possibly some colors that aren’t black 😁

I will be testing my rats this year with the Rat Breeder Assessment package and then annually after that. I expect them to be in the clear as I haven’t had a rat get sick in…. Well, I literally can’t remember the last time anyone was sick! But I want my adopters and my rats healthy and happy, no matter what. I will be posting results when they come in! Feel free to ask me any questions about the health and temperament of my rats, I will answer you honestly and to the best of my ability. Take care, everyone! 👋🏻

My Purple Passion female, Selene. Just ate a rat, going to spot clean when she moves out of the way by herself! I always avoid touching BPs at least 3 days after they eat

Two Russian Blue Silvermane adult male rats available for adoption. There are also regular Russian Blues, some dumbo, all from the same litter. About 3-4 months old. They carry Harley.
